I'm thinking of selling my single axle its a 84 300 mack with a 5 speed and a wet line $7000 U.S. I am interested in trading though for a old car from the 20s or 30s I'll post more pics later

What is the history on that one Alex?

As far as I know it Belonged to Skyway Fertilizer in Smithville then Yager Bros bought it and used it as a local shunter truck.I run #s thru mack it's original drive line

Now that is a cool little Mack Truck. In one of the other forums, they were talking about the Cat C15 and what were the most reliable engines. But of all the Mack 300 owners I have encountered, I have never heard one complain about reliability. Isn't the Mack 300 in the group of most reliable truck engines built? Also, specific to this truck: May I ask how many miles are on it. Lastly, what would the axle ratio be? --

485500 kms I can't remember axle ratio but I think it's 3:50 to 3:70 range the truck tops out at 110 km/h

Nice truck. I love the single axle R's and with the 5-speed, it makes it an easy truck to drive for a hobby rig. If I only had money...

I actually still have it but my daughter has laid claim to it. She runs it at the big rig drags every year and tractor pulls
