I recently did an inframe rebuild on a 2000 model E7-350 engine. Oil blows out the breather tube at high RPM's. I used an aftermarket kit with new liners, pistons and rings. We even let the truck run for several hrs at 1700 rpms to try to seat the rings. There is still to much blow-by. Could this by anything besides a piston ring problem?
Hi all. I have a 2004 mack quantum twin steer. For the last 2 weeks its been cutting out, as if someone has turned the key off. Only problem after a while it starts and works fine again. I've had the auto elec change the voltage regulator, macks have changed the fuel pump and it still cuts out. sometimes for ten minutes, othertimes for hours. The freaken thing is driving me crazy.

I have a 1955 Mack B61 and as far as I know everything is origional. I rebuilt the brakes a few years ago with new rear drums cast by dura brake. I have the rear brake pots with the big diaphrams and they lock on low air pressure. I don't know what these are called. I don't believe they are spring brakes. I had a ten pound bag of leg quarters in the freezer that had been in there a long time, so I cooked them all.
