OK MY FATHER AN I BUILT OUR TRUCK FOR WEL NOT MUCH. NOW WHEN IT SOMES TIME TO DRIVE IT. IT SUCKS. THE STEERING ON IT IS WAAAYYY TO DIFFICULT. ON ONE HAND IT IS A 59 B-73 WITH A 272IN WHEEL BASE ON THE OTHER ITS TUOGH TO EVEN MOVE THE SEERING WHEEL. DOES ANY BODY KNOW HOW DIFFICULT AND EXPESIVE IT IS TO PUT POWER STEERING ON THE TRUCK???

Not too difficult - but parts can be tough to get.

If you are using a 673 the hydraulic pump will probably require

a Lovejoy connection between the generator and the pump.

Later engines have a provision to drive the pump from the air

compressor drive.

You might contact Matt Pfahl, who has the parts,

or Kevin All at AllMacks, who also should have the parts.

Matt's kind of an authority on the power steering stuff.

THANKS BUT THE ONLY PROBLEM I SAW THERE IS WE CONVERTED IT FROM THE GENERATOR SYSTEM TO AN ALTERNAOR SYSTEM IF IM NOT MISTAKEN. BECAUSE THE GEN. WAS WHIPED OUT SO I HOPE THAT DOENT HAVE A BIG PART IN IT.
