E7-350

I recently did an inframe rebuild on a 2000 model E7-350 engine. Oil blows out the breather tube at high RPM's. I used an aftermarket kit with new liners, pistons and rings. We even let the truck run for several hrs at 1700 rpms to try to seat the rings. There is still to much blow-by. Could this by anything besides a piston ring problem?

The best way to bed new rings or run in a new motor is to load the engine up and run for as long as possible, ie a long trip. running the engine at highish rpm unloaded is counter productive and may even glaze the bore.

Short story, make them work.

Good luck
