These are pictures of a 1948 Mack, model 45 S. I recently bought this truck. At some point a Detroit 4-53 and 8 speed transmission was retrofitted. Overall it is in reasonably good shape. Cab mounts are the biggest issue. I am currently replacing them.

Arute Brothers set what was believed to be a one day concrete paving record on June 1, 1948, by placing a total of 5,779 lin. ft. of 8 in. thick 12 ft. wide pavement.
