nothing nicer than a white wheel in a mint green R model cab. what are you runnin for a tranny? most older r models have the sticks comin out under the heater with a 72 series trans.

This is a BCR kit and is an R Model cab sitting on a B Model chassis. The cab seems to set more forward than on an R Model. The transmission is a TRQ7220.

Also Maddog I forgot to mention that the B Model was originally a mixer an still has the housing for the pto between the engine and transmission which moves the tranny back a few more inches.

In the BCR service bulletin (assy. instructions),it says to bend the sticks to clear the heater box.....good eye,Matt. Even better explanation,Jake! The flywheel PTO (early version). I'm going to have to read those instructions carefully, when/if I ever put my Quadbox in.

Al, This one had sticks that were bent ahead under the floor to miss the floor reinforcement and to match up with the hole in the floor. It was kind of a bad deal because the sticks would twist and it was hard to find the gears. I changed the floor and put in straight sticks. I got some bent ones if you need them.

I have an eye for those things Al haha. my 66 R model I just put the 300+ and 10 speed RR in ended up with the stick comin up right in the middle of the two floor boards. I just cut the brace out a little with a sawsall and will doll it upwith some weldin underneither when I restore it. just mockin it all up now. I have the original duplex out of it and it has the bent sticks comin out under the heater. many variable I believe. some had a double disk clutch which moved the levers back also. I think some Roadrangers had an offset shiftin tower to? our 82 at work has this and the lever bent forward to clear the brace in floor. this is an 82 tho and the cab sits a little higher than the 66.
