Modification Picture #1
The process begins with several "make it look more like a truck" steps:
1. New-from-the-factory hood ornament. First things first, of course - installed this before anything else. If you're looking for something like this and want to save money, ask your dealer to order it out of the accessory book - way less than if you order it for a truck, and it's the SAME item!
2. New West Coast, Jr. stainless steel mirrors. I couldn't believe they were still being made, and in the USA! Found a place where they were less than $40 each (less than 1/2 what other places were charging)!
3. New cab lights. These retro-look lights worked really well on Mack, Jr. - had a hard time finding them, though! Wanted something with lots of chrome. They also have a nice curve to match the slope of the roof. If I told you what they were designed to fit originally, you'd flip!
