2 coils ? 2 set's of wires ? 2 park plugs per cylinder ?

I'm guessing not starting wasn't an option ? or was it for more power ?

Mike, Ive heard that the dual ignition was something that mack did for the fire service, while starting the truck or if the truck failed during emergency operation the second ignition was ready to go.
