1967 M-30X1349

This picture was taken in 2005 as this truck was leaving our plant after being sold at auction. It's the last of the M models we had at this plant. This was a 1967 with a Cummins 855 and a six speed Allison. It was being used right up to the day it quit moving. I believe the failure that finally put an end to it was a failed flex-plate between the engine and transmission. I had many hours working on this truck over the years at various plants around New York state. Some where I believe I have a picture of it after a major rebuild with nice shinny paint. If I find it I will post that one too.
