After retirement Brutus and the other Blue Ash, OH firetrucks lost touch. After many years, I learned that the ladder truck that ran with my pumper was now serving in Millers Ferry, NC. I made a trip from Raleigh to Miller Ferry, NC to take photos of them side by side. Who would have ever thought that they would have met again in retirement so many years later. It had been over 9 years since the trucks had been side by side in Ohio.
