Iveco substantially revised their Powerstar conventional for 2012 down in the Australian/New Zealand market. This is a top notch truck that would be easily adaptable to North American requirements.

With only 4 suppliers left in the class 8 semi-tractor market here, profit margins have risen since GM, Dodge, and Ford left that market. Thus FIAT will probably bring the Powerstar here, and Ford might get back into the market too.

Oh in sure if it came to the states Fiat would badge it as a Dodge/Ram of some kind I bet.

Looks like a Mack/Volvo hybrid, Mack grill area but Volvo head lights and wheel wells . . .

first 2 pics reminds me of a volvo VNM. i would like to see a new player in the USA market but i'm not holding my breath. I dont really count the CAT trucks as new.

I talked to 2 guy's with CAT Trucks and the news was not good, one was a roll-off and the other was a cat dealer truck, motors junk and the hoods break. How true?? I don't know ?? I am no CAT fan so It's only speculation!
