  4. It is a full running driving rig. I am missing the emergency lights and the siren assembly but the rest is there. It is s CF685F It has the 500 gallon tank and the waterous pump. It has the Maxidyne Diesel motor with a 5 speed. What are you looking for in particular. It is not even stripped. I drive it daily, it has an orginal 35,000 miles on it and low engine hours also. Brakes, Clutch motor EVERYTHING works and drives. I am trying to sell it but I am think I may have better luck parting it. Send me your email address and I will send pictures of it.
  5. Do you have a Siren or Emergency Lights?
  6. Anyone intersted in parts off of a 72 CF685 Pumper?
  7. PLEASE EMAIL IF INTERSTED.... AWESOME TRUCK.
  8. 1972 MACK APPARATUS FIRE TRUCK RUNNING AND DRIVING Vehicle Description FOR YOUR BIDDING PLEASURE...... A1972 MACK FIRETRUCK "APPARATUS" - 6 CYL DIESEL MACK ENGINE - MAXIDYNE W/5SPEED. IT SHOWS ABOUT 35,000 ORIGINAL MILES ON THE ODOMETER. THIS TRUCK WAS IN SERVICE IN FIRCREST WASHINGTON TILL 1996 THE BEST I CAN TELL. THE TRUCK RUNS AND DRIVES FLAWLESSLY, IT HANDLES, SHIFTS AND STOPS PERFECT. EVERYTHING WORKS EXCEPT THE TURN SIGNALS. THE ORIGINAL EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND SIREN HAVE BEEN REMOVED. EVERYTHING ON THE MOTOR IS AWESOME. IT FIRES RIGHT UP (EASILY) AND IDLES LIKE GLASS. IT IS VERY RESPONSIVE AND POWERFULL. IT GOES GREAT DOWN THE FREEWAY!!! TIRES ARE "LIKE BRAND NEW"... THEY WERE JUST PUT ON IN MAY OF LAST YEAR. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THE "WATEROUS" PUMP WORKS GREAT AND ALL THE WATER SYSTEM IS OPERATIONAL. HOWEVER I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING. THERE ARE TWO GAUGES MISSING AND THE PLUNGERS AND LEVERS HAVE SURFACE RUST THAT MAKE THEM A LITTLE STICKY TO OPERATE. ALL THE MOTOR CONTROLS WORK FROM THE REAR SIDE PANEL. ALL SWITCHES AND ACCESSORIES WORK. IT HAS THE HOSE ETC. THE GAUGES FOR THE WATER SYSTEM WORK ALSO. IT HAS A 500 GALLON STEEL TANK. ALL THE CABINETS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION. THE CHASSIS HAS MINIMAL RUST. OBVIOUSLY THE PAINT IS FADED... PLEASE EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS. TRUST ME THIS TRUCK RUNS OUT GREAT. JUST SPENT A FEW DAYS WITH MY MECHANIC AND IT CAME BACK WITH A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH FOR THE DRIVE TRAIN. COULD BE A FLAT BED, TOW TRUCK OR WHATEVER... IT LEFT SERVICE AND WENT TO "BATES" TECH COLLEGE FOR A TRAINING VEHICLE. THEN A GUY BOUGHT IT TO RESTORE AND TOOK SOME THINGS OFF LIKE THE TURN SIGNALS AND HAD TO SELL IT FOR HEALTH REASONS. THE SIGNALS, THE LADDER RACK AND THE SIREN AND UPPER CAB EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE GONE. I WAS TOLD THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TOOK THE LIGHTS AND THE SIREN FOR SOME REASON? THERE ARE TWO GAUGES (THE BIG ONES) MISSING OFF THE APPARATUS CONTROL PANEL. THIS TRUCK IS EASILY RESTORABLE. THE CHASSIS AND DRIVE TRAIN IS THE BEST YOU CAN FIND I BELEIVE. THE CHASSIS LOOKS TEN YEARS OLD... REALLY. IT DOESN'T LEAK ANYTHING EITHER. TIRES HOLD AIR NO PROBLEM.
