  20. I am a new member, and wanted to share my new project with other Mack fans. This is my 1962 B42 that was originally sold as a gas single axle dump truck, and was later, (about 1975) converted to a END673 by a local mack dealer. I need a little help with the front axle, as i would like to change it over to power steering and budd wheels. I am not sure if it can be done, or what i need to do it. I also have a turbo from a n E6 that I would like to install if possible. This truck runs and drives excellent, and is a joy to drive!( other than the armstrong steering! lol) any help with my project would be greatly appreciated! I am from Western PA. Thanks! 21. HELLO ALL' Well I heard once that TRUCK'N AIN'T FOR SISSIES. Well I'm hear to tell yah that, that is the GOD'S honest truth. So for this month I've only had 2 loads worth the fuel to pickup and deliver. Everything else I've been offered would have put me outside our frieght lanes and I'd have sat at atruck stop and spent money. That sucks....I realy was beginning to worry. My main customer didn't get paid for awhile by their customers so we didn't get paid. Now for the good news my customer finaly got paid and we're back to haulin a little frieght THANK YOU GOD. Even occasionaly need tires and fuel. Any of you flatbedders out there pick up as many nails in your drive tires???? Seems like every week I have a few new ones to plug. Oh well you can'nt win all the time it would get boring. that's why we have hard times. That's GOD telling us that HE is still in control and that we don't know it all.Not by far . To everyone out there who is stuggling please remember that a little faith goes a long way. AND that GOD THE FATHER has and will always LOVE us all even when we don't deserve it...... especilly when we don't deserve it. PRIDE I THINK IS THIS GENERATION'S worst sin I can attest to that I have more than my fare share. Well enough rambling for today. GOD bless you all and KEEP ON TRUCKIN View the full blog entry
  22. Slacking off a little on the old blog here. Except for sitting for 10 hours Monday waiting to get unloaded in Roxana, Il. I had a pretty good week. I was supposed to pick up a load in Jackson, Tn. and deliver it in Pounding Mill, Va. at 12:30 Tuesday, but it took so long to get unloaded there was no way I could make it. Earliest appointment I could get Wednesday was for 1:30, so then I had time to kill. I could have gotten there about 5:30 or 6:00 Monday, but I stopped at the Davy Crocket truckstop in Tennessee. When I unloaded in Pounding Mill I reloaded at the same place going to Chattanooga, then loaded in Chattanooga for Lynchburg. Then to the yard and loaded up for Roxana again to deliver Monday. got a couple of pictures here-thought I saw nocluejoe driving the buggy truck in Knoxville, but it wasn't him. It was a cabover Pete buggy truck.... speaking of cabover Petes, saw this unit for sale in Montvale, Va. Don't see this setup in the east much. I thought about winning the lottery, buying this truck, and moving out west and be a hay hauler. Or move next door to Rob just to annoy him. pretty neat picture of the PC screen-nice background picture,eh? (that's Canadian) Attached thumbnail(s) // // // View the full blog entry
