Just doing some TLC today and I think I am missing parts on the clutch linkage as it has a spring and a bungy cord hooked to it and the throttle cable for fast idle is zip tied to the rod and the spring is hooked to a oil line. One of the previous owners must of had some good rigging skills as it was not obvously noticable and I drove over 140 miles without issue and by looking at some of the other fixes who ever it was could fix just about anything with bungy cords I ordered my service manuals today so they should be here by the end of the week

  9. is that a Samsquanch with a tweed sport jacket?? I cant believe its that warm in Vermont that you dont need a shirt, when I got home today there was still snow on the ground next to the shop from Thursdays snow storm here in KC
  10. I have to make room by getting my other girl back in shape, my mom in law came over tonight to finish the seats for my B. I took her out to eat so she should be able finish them tommorow, fingers crossed.

  13. A freind of mine said you only need to worry about a DD when they aint leaking, so you are off to a good start! Back in 1988 or 89, I popped the hood on my truck and was checking it out and I asked a guy I was running with if he was going to check his oil, he looked under the front and seen some oil drips and said yep she got oil in her she is all set. It was a very leaky cummings engine.
