You need to read your liberal rag, even they say it was under the the current regime. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/jun/03/us-isis-syria-iraq Had POTUS pushed for a SOFA agreement in Iraq we would not have the problem with ISIS as it is today. http://usherald.com/breaking-declassified-docs-show-that-obama-admin-created-isis-in-2012-to-use-as-a-tool/ http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=162_1432538588 In this Pentagon Speech he says we are training ISIS

Yes and if the motor is apart and non running I would try and get it for less. You have rust to contend with, window open so probably floor is rotted, door is rotted, and so on. Can you save it sure, do you want to buy it for 5k and put at least 10k in the motor and body work? Or would you rather pay $1500 and then 10K? Depending on where it is you said it could cost you at least 2k for transport so that adds on Up to you if you think it is worth it.

Here is the reason in my opinion, the federal lands are being put up as collateral for national debt. The west is least populated but has vast natural resources which makes the lands more valuable than say the coast of Maine. Just look at the maps and compare where mineral, energy and other natural resources are. Also with small populations hard to make the national news compared to BLM taking over say half of Connecticut. Check out the maps http://minerals.usgs.gov/minerals/pubs/mapdata/ Took a little while to find a source that everyone could agree was "reliable enough" and provided enough of an explanation without the site prone to tinfoil hats and "koockoo for cocco puffs" writers. It is an old article, but I heard something about this many years ago during a Military briefing when someone asked about "Chain of Command" as US Soldiers being under UN command like in Haiti in 1995-96, a Soldier asked or stated something and the S-2 or who ever it was given the briefing responded with some talk about this. I dismissed it as the "Conspiracy" chatter. http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-197641

SLC Lighting
thomastractorsvc replied to thomastractorsvc's topic in Electrical, Electronics and Lighting
Just opened them up seem to be decent quality but the marker lights are chrome plastic, the other lights I bought seem decent enough. I could not find any markings of where made just the part number. It will be tomorrow at the earliest before I can compare to the set I got from Ebay and the shorty from Mack.- 14 replies

Looks like at your pace by the end of January should be ready to roll. Try http://www.vanderhaags.com/index.phpfor the rims. I bought recon polished for $200 each from them.

So it was originally formulated as an all in one product then they figured out how to separate them to make twice the money, gotta love it!

As long as it is not rust out not rusted out (larger than a pin hole) easy fix, wire wheel or sand blast and coat with primer sealer than with automotive seam sealer paint. If it is more than that than maybe some work. If you decided to pass post it here someone may want it.

I tried to leave a message in the wiki under the SLC Lighting but it would not let me. I know that there name gets used a lot when it comes to looking for lights so I thought I would let you know where I am so far with my purchase with them. I ordered and paid for my lights online on 22 December 2015. They were not shipped until I called them on the 29th looking for my tracking info. Got an email latter that day with UPS tracking info. UPS wont deliver until Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday this week. Not sure about the quality as I have not received them, but to take 14 days to get a box that will probably weigh around 8lbs is ridiculous I am only 800 miles away, not like I live in Caribou Maine and they are coming from Anchorage Alaska. Yea I know about the Holidays but if you are open and accept my money it would be nice get my stuff. BTW to compare I ordered a Sony Camcorder on the night of the 22nd, got tracking info by midday and it shipped on the 23rd, from Cameta Camera they are in NY and I got that stuff on the 29th. Product Code Product Description 516-31-789 Cab Marker - Bullet OLD - Amber Incandescent 516-31-773 Cab Marker - Bullet Short - Amber Incandescent 528-3301 Interior Dome Light 982-23-230 4" Mega Spot Light- Twin Pack W/ Black Housing After I get the items I will let you know about quality compared to the ones I bought from Ebay and the shorty one from Mack.

You should see if you could get the old girl it back or at give her a pet. -
Looks good. What is the license plate heat shield for? Did those trucks have problems with fires on the oil fill tube? Any pictures of the insides?

FOR SALE Why haven't we talked about this truck?
thomastractorsvc replied to Outbehindthebarn's topic in Trucks for Sale
Here is another one that will probably start making the rounds once somebody figures out it is to costly to fix. I called about this truck and was told the entire rear suspension and trunion need replaced and was unsafe to operate, again light suspension and drive train for a dump. https://www.purplewave.com/cgi-bin/mnlist.cgi?151230/L7292 -

thomastractorsvc replied to Outbehindthebarn's topic in Trucks for Sale
That thing has been on just about every Auction site around and I think even saw it on CL, the last time I seen it sold I think it was around 8K. I think it is making the the rounds of the truck flippers, Probably to light of suspension for the exporters and over priced for everyone else once somebody gets eyes on it. -
Cloth backed "duct tape" or "100 MPH" tape was designed for the military use and is not suitable for HVAC work for the reason you specified. There are several tapes made specifically designed for HVAC use that does not break down over time with at least a 25 year use expectancy. Here is the link to http://www.lizardskin.com/

B hood latch
thomastractorsvc replied to hiwy50's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
According to what I was told they are for a DM meaning they are square instead of round like on the B's, but they are supposed to be the same length. The Rs are longer by about 2 inches, I have some of them. I don't know of anyone who makes the round ones. Watts sells the DM ones under the B model parts. -

You really need that tool or take it to a glass shop and have them put the lock strip in for you. -
B hood latch
thomastractorsvc replied to hiwy50's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
I have taken a couple apart and got the rust out and squeezed it back. Used some heat, a vice and various screwdrivers etc... I only opened it up enough to knock out the rust/dirt and free it up. I think if you are careful you could get it opened up and fixed. The hard part would be finding the repair parts if it was actually rust through and not needing to be just freed up. Watts Mack sells replacement ones. http://www.wattstruckcenter.com/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=59_67 Or you can check locally. The first primer was a sealer primer? And the flex agent was used because you top coated correct?

So it will be green and yellow?
