Here is a video that will give you facts about the how and the why of Islamism and what is the ultimate goal is. This documentary is from around 2008, although it is a few years old it does a great job of explaining the Jihad movement and you will have a better understanding of what has been happening for the last 15 + years and where this movement is going.

This is not about immigration into the US it is about religious ideology and the fundamental change to western culture. This culture for the most part is based on a form of Christianity that allows for respect of human life, tolerance, respect and rule of law. A people who do not have the same respect for human life, tolerance, respect and rule of law are fundamentally at odds and will not a assimilate into that culture except through generational and cultural change. For whatever reason POTUS seems to be sympathetic to the ideological diffrence and is in direct conflict to our American/ western culture and his primary responsibility to Americans is to protect life and liberty. Of the 2000 + Syrian refugees allowed into the US only 3% were Christian and over 95% Islamic. It is the Christians who are attacked and killed in Syria by the regime, ISIS and other rebel groups and the Christian Syrian is the lowest risk of terrorism according to the US GOV. ISIS wants to destroy all western infidels and although some Americans would not want boots on the ground in the mid east how will they feel when that battle is on the streets of New York, Boston, Detroit or Minneapolis all city's with high Islamic community's thst have had ISIS sympathetic people. POTUS needs to become a leader and pull together the Russians,French,Kurds and others to form a collaborative effort to fight and destroy them before the attacks are here in America. Provide a safe haven for the refugees in Syria and send them back to there home country where they will not have to assimilate into any other culture.

After spending and living for five years in the middle east from 1988 to 2008 and working with various military's I can tell you that in my opinion 99% of the middle east people do not have the intestinal fortitude, will or wherewithal to wage war and become successful. The strongest forces that were in the middle east was the army under Saddam because they had fear of him, however if you remember the average Iraqi soldier threw down his weapon when the US crossed the boarder in Desert Storm. It was the republican guard that fought hard and routing them was the toughest part of both Desert Shield and Iraqi freedom 15 years later. The 1% willing to fight are the violent and driven terrorist and who believes in his ideology and the fight and is willing to die for it. Although the ideology is different, in my opinion based on my experiences the US Soldier believed in the Fight (defense of this nation) and was willing to die for the American way, that is what made the US military so great it was made up of all volunteers not unlike the enemy of today in the middle east. With lessons learned from the Vietnam war an all volunteer force and technology and advanced weapons systems made the US Military strong and that was proven in Desert Storm and Iraq and Afghanistan. The only way to route out terrorists that want to destroy the West or civilized world is to occupy until they are all either killed or ousted by generations. Look at the Romans, ottomans or even occupation after WWII. Dropping bombs may temporally keep them in check but it will not solve the problem. Afghanistan is run for the most part by corruption and factions with US service members behind hesco barriers and drones circling around, that is not an occupation. I am talking about a complete transformation and occupation the same as a colonization similar to what happened in Japan and Germany with the US responsible for all aspects of government and law enforcement until the Japaneses occupation lasted from 1945 to 1952 and Germany 1944 to 1955 and Germany originally broken into 4 regions before final the two state division with Allies in the west and the USSR in the east. Point being the NAZIs never regained power and neither did the Emperor of Japan, by the way Italy was occupied by the Allied Military Government from 1943 to 1947

As a side note "war story" I was stationed at Fort Sill from 1991 to 1996, if I remember correctly it was 1992, and I was the BN COLs Driver. Fort Sill is a training a training base with one side for set up for training and regular units on the other side of the base. Early one morning somebody dressed like a Drill Sergeant and had a 5/4 ton Cucv M1008 and pulled up to a training bivouac side and told the trainees to load the weapons in the back about two minutes later he was gone. Back then most military bases were open and there were roads that entered and exited from just about anywhere. I don't think the weapons were ever recovered. It was not until 9/11 that the military bases got locked down. When I PCSed to Fort Mead in 1999 the PX parking lot was a dumping spot for stolen cars and the main road on post was 95% civilians cutting through to save 10 minutes from driving around post.

That was an inside job In a building such as shown in the video the arms vault would be concrete lined with steel and the arms racks would be bolted to the floor and paddle locked. The vault door is designed for at least 20 minutes entry without code. There would have been the gate and fence to breach with video camera may or may not be alarmed, defiantly an alarm on the building and a separate alarm on the arms room all hard wired and underground with a default alarm that activates with no power or signal.

Air assit is a kinda power steering as far as putting hydraulic power steering would need a pump and new steering gear box The front brakes is a matter of finding the parts and bolting them back on 74 I believe should have had front brakes probably the original owner took them off thinking it would help with weight or controlled hard braking -

I disagree with your assumption that "Most white Americans don't want to do the jobs that the illegal immigrants do no matter what the pay let alone for the low wages they get" That is the "standard" explanation that "Pro-immigration talking heads" use to justify there cause and it just is not the case. Where I am from in Northern Maine, the people are still proud and willing to work. There are many Americans that will do the work on farms and I don't think the price potatoes has skyrocketed because of not using imported labor legal or otherwise. According to the USDA Farm workers make up less than 1% of wage earners with average hourly wages of $9 to $21 per hour 1.1 million non union labor. With 50% of the farm labor force being illegals, so that tells me that half of the jobs in Farm labor could be filled by legal citizens. Ironically, the vast majority of illegal farm labor is in California, Washington and Oregon, all places that provide safe haven to illegals. Google "Aroostook County Potato Harvest" and look at the images and videos let me know if the people working in the images are not proud and willing to fill the additional 50% of the jobs that are filled with non legal immigrants. For that matter I now live in rural Missouri close to Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. The legal citizens here seem to be able to grow the Nations wheat and corn crops let alone a large portion of beef and pork production. The last part of about "It is American citizens who are hiring the illegal immigrants and almost everyone one of us benefits from the cheap work that they do" If the people hiring the illegals were actually prosecuted and not given a pass that would change, but like I stated before the largest portion of illegals work in areas where the everyone associated with this human labor trafficking is given a pass. I also find it Ironic that the same people who promote and support the illegal labor force are against other human trafficking such as in the sex trade, or in other country's where forced labor is acceptable. All legal citizens who are working and tax paying are effected by this. To make it close to home how much of the property tax that you pay to your school district goes to teach illegal children and special English as a Second Language programs. Let alone the medicare and food stamp program and EBT cards. Go sit at the Walmart or local convenience store and see how many EBT cards buy cigarettes, beer and gas. Then look at how many are able bodied and could be working than how many barley speak English. In 2010 the average paid to illegal household in welfare and social programs were $24,721. (( https://www.congress.gov/congressional-record/2013/6/25/house-section/article/h3997-5)) Now that may not seem like much but it add up. DHS estimated in 2012 there was 11.4 million illegals so on average 11.4 x$24.721 = $281,819.40 million just in welfare each year. In 5 years that is more than $1.4 billion based on generic numbers that the USDA and DHS. Please explain how that does not effect every legal citizens who is working and paying tax.

My family (Thomas) came here in the 1600s specifically to New England. According to the family ancestry records we have participated in every war or incursion since coming to the New World to present. The land we have was out right purchased or was land granted, the farm I was raised on was from President Lincoln for payment for serving in the Civil War and perhaps without my Great Great Grandfather and Uncle the Union may have lost; as they were in the 20th Maine at Little Round Top. The other part of my family was here even before that and was native to America, Canada and Northern Maine. With all that being said, My Family never had slaves, took anything from anybody and continue to put God and Country first. Until the majority of Americans come and understand that this great Nation can no longer sustain itself on the this path of "Social Reform" and begin to rein in on welfare, medicare, food stamps and other social programs that drain the nation and transform its people into takers the sacrifices my family and others have made over the last 240 years will all have been in vain. What ever happened to the great Democrat cry of "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."- John F. Kennedy Perhaps if we reflected on that and a little self sacrifice and concentrated on hard work and getting ahead we would start to.

It says frame is good but I would think otherwise with the rust on floor, primed doors and snowplow mount It is the right price if it is a good runner and the bed is halfway decent

Leaking Roof Vent
thomastractorsvc replied to Outbehindthebarn's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
Like any temporary repair may last 10 minutes or 10 years. My suggestion so you don't have leaks and ruin the interior. See how much a used one is or better yet take to a body shop if you don't have a welder/body shop and see what it would cost to fix it I bet not much than put some rattle can paint on it and it will be like new. Check with Superdog Mike bet he has vent -
