  1. But as the Peoria Journal Star (Andy Kravetz) notes, “Whether the men collect their money is another story. Star Transport went out of business earlier this year and it’s unknown who is now responsible for the judgment.”
  2. Wow looks good even with the ford bed on it
  3. Nice pictures, looks like it was a great from the faces almost everybody has a smile on. I like that white Chevy Bison looks real clean same with the black one at the end.
  4. You would do better with a MT39 a newer starter version. Send that alternator bracket back to the dealer and get your money the generator brackets will work just stop by the hardware store and get a 1/2" pipe about 4 inches long to use as a spacer you will need the pulley off the generator anyways because the belt widths are different they are called B width i think 9/16th or 5/8th wide cant remember off the top of my head
  5. On the original motor i would think it would be on the passenger-side front same as the pump. On my B and the later Mack engines that I have seen they were also on the right. The Cummins in my Super-liner is on the left but so is the pump.
  6. It doesn't look broke, weld the old one up and reinforce it
  7. I would check with other certified doctors as there is no mandated price on a physical. I was planning on getting mine done via the CVS which was $100 bucks, was driving through a neighboring town an there was a occupational health office that CDL physicals were $65 bucks so I pulled in and looked them up on my cell phone and sure enough they were on the FMCSA web site so I got prodded and went to lunch with the left over money.
  8. Congratulations
  9. Price of a replacement part sometimes is a good motivator! Looking good and nothing wrong with a parts truck.
  10. Just a question if you are not a "truck" guy why did you buy a bunch of stuff that you have no idea 1. what it is (see a picture of a semi trailer winch strap about $14 new) 2. what shape it is in; i.e.. new, used or worn out (I see a box of old used distributor caps, most likely worn out, cracked and worthless) 3. what value it may have or not Example: You stated you have sold all the data plates to a truck that was purchased by someone else on eBay now you want to make a deal on the last plate.
  11. Why do people always leave the windows down so the interior can get rotted out worse.
  12. I just looked them up looks like this would work http://www.idsfinishes.com/
  13. With scrap prices low pretty slim pickings from the theives
  14. I didn't think of the epoxy but that could also work I was thinking get the old flaky stuff off and fine sand it down the edges than re-clear coat building up in the area that de-laminated but that epoxy probably would work also, not sure how you could control the thickness and running off the edge.
  15. I would take a sharp razor blade and carefully work the old clear off than wet sand what's left trying not to damage the area around the dog
  16. get on PAI https://www.paiindustries.com/and look through the online catalogs they have some chrome stuff. You can look up a dealer and have them order it for you.
  17. Buy this Mack on air https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/5263993983.html This trailer http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-Tibrook-39-Frameless-Aluminum-Dump-Trailer-with-air-ride-suspension-chute-/191714461270 and all for less than 20K hire the new driver and save for the next truck and trailer
  18. I thought about it for a minute but I think the price is to much for what you get.
  19. Nice pictures seeing all those leaves change colors makes me a little homesick, then I remember the ass deep snow that will start in few weeks.
  20. Anyone know what he is asking? Looks like a conversion of some sort.
  21. I doubt it is a broken belt if it stopped wobbling, usually will bulge and get worse . I was thinking you should check the lug nuts if it is stud pilot the studs are smaller than the holes in the rim maybe when it hit it could have off centered the rim on the hub and as you drove it it re-centered? They sell special centering bushings to help prevent wear and things like this. http://www.spcalignment.com/component/content/article/45-subpages/heavy-duty/288-wheel-centering-products
  22. Just got the new catalog in the mail. Whatever happened to a BMT discount? Never could get the one they said was for BMT members to work and posted back then about it but never got any response other than they would get back. Anyone???
  23. Whats the deal with the round double headlights? Look like KW/ PACCAR. Looks to nice to scrap any story on why it was stripped?
