  1. How much and interior pictures?
  2. If anyone needs something from Superdogs or else where going that way let me know. I don't mind going out of the way some as school will be out and it will be a mini vacation/road trip to pick up my sleeper and see stuff. Let me know by Sunday 29 March
  3. After redoing a Kenworth with Peterbilt suspension and learning more about air-ride systems then I ever wanted to, a few things you need to check Contact Mack and find out what the ride height is supposed to be and where it is measured from (on the KW it was measured from the top of the axle to bottom frame on other types it may be different) You need to know if all the air bags are the same (maybe the rear were changed and are different from the front or vice verse so different height) Most level valves that I have seen that control both axles are are on the rear axle (maybe your truck had two and lost one or it was replaced on the wrong axle) The drive shafts that I have messed with all have a grease hole to allow grease to escape if it suddenly needs to collapse, if the shaft is stuck more than likely it is due to lack of grease not because it has to much. If there was an abundance of grease usually it slings everywhere under the truck not freeze up slip joints. As far as weights being lost of just pull it and have it balanced while you looking at it maybe it is not in phase that can create vibration
  4. Looking good, what are you going to use it for? Shows, camping or hauling stuff?
  5. the main deck if I cover the wheels is just over 38 ft so that should be long enough, I was going to add a tool box and spare tires on top of the gooseneck. If I run out of room I may look at your idea. Went by and dropped off the tire that was missing and took some pictures. The trailer is chained in the rear to the floor and they were heating it with a rosebud torch. They were letting it cool than going to re-hook it.
  6. Saw the article in my hard copy, watched the videos seems like you are famous now. need a pit crew???
  7. Thanks kind of shaky though, I need to buy a real video camera or gopro
  8. Jac said it was worth a 10 hours on the road and she should have taken some pictures too. She also said thanks for the cards. For us too, it was a nice day, traffic was easy and all the kids even got along all the way there and back. Duke was dancing when we got home but held it in so he got a cookie.
  9. Mike next time one of them Auctions come up shoot me a PM, if you cant make it maybe I will drive up!
  10. I sent a pm never heard back going to Mikes in the am then to OH/PA week of the 30th if someone needs something let him know.
  11. Here is a video from yesterday on my road after dropping off the lowboy trailer. https://youtu.be/klbnvsDCVeE
  12. I plan on doing a little of both. Wood on the main deck and build steel over the wheels I was thinking of building hatches to cover the middle so I can haul my JD 60 narrow front tractor
  13. Long way from Texas 1200 miles from KC
  14. with delivery to JAX probably going for a boat ride.
  15. That old dog looks to be in pretty decent shape, short wheel base for sure, I think it is about the same length as the baby blue one superdog has.
  16. Yes that is what I was wondering, is it just painted or some kind of vinyl?
  17. Wow, I wonder what shape the building was in to begin with. I have seen a few brick facades that were holding together with the paint the sprayed on it because if they used a brush they would have knocked it down.
  18. I sold my 1980 R686ST with six speed, little longer wheel base, new fifth-wheel, sand blasted and painted redone interior a couple weeks ago to a collector I tried to make mine as close to stock as possible <<won and placed at a few truck shows>>. Never had real intentions to sell but was asked to sell it. So see below- If you post some more info and interior pictures I will tell you what I would pay for it.
