  1. Just paint it Orange or White and put student driver on the back maybe that will help keep people away
  2. Rare? That is how my wife likes her prime rib
  3. I usually pop the hood and check out the fluids, belts and stuff after looking it over I start it up let idle turn on the lights and finish the walk around come back to the front look for leaks close the hood and then get ready to go. If the truck is in the shop it will be on shop air after starting will pull it out side to finish the walk around.
  4. Get on ebay and buy away. That is the easiest place to find them. That is where I bought mine the dealer was no help I am sure you can find them other places also but may take longer and the may not ship over seas
  5. Had a truck that had a small coiled air line hooked to the seat with a blower tip to clean out the cab worked good.
  6. Welcome it looks different and bigger than my lubrafiner mine holds 2.5 gals so it's probably 3 gallon
  7. Is that 3 mile island in the background?
  8. Looks like all in favor unanimously so everyone is required to install one on their truck now on to new business......
  9. The Mack dealer charges $165 and couple of the other franchise shops charge a little less but unless it's a mom and pops it's at least $150 most of the moms and pops are $100 per hour or more and unless you know someone most of the tire shops are at least that much to swap a tire out.
  10. Probably the truck is a small owner operator with a couple of trucks. The rear went out so they pulled the axles and trying to limp it home to get worked on by the owners instead of a dealer charging $150 per hour plus paying for a weeks worth of perdeim and hotel for the driver I am sure there has been worse road side repairs I did similar before with a m931 in Iraq during the first gulf war ended pulling both front axles shafts and grease bearings then stuck the caps back on run the truck like that for another 4 months before heading to Saudi Arabia did it on the side of the road with some basic tools in the Army it is called bdar battlefield damage assessment and repair
  11. I second that motion, all those in favor say aye!
  12. Mike Did you call on it? What was the deal?
  13. I am with him, lets see some video of it hauling some hogs!
  14. Was going to head to a show in Adrain, MO this weekend but looked at the weather, my mom in law wanted to come and the walk in door frame on my shop needed some attention so I decided it may be best to stay home, worked out good the mom in law came over for the weekend, fixed the door by lunch than it stormed the rest of the day. I guess the next show is "touch a truck" at the Agriculture Hall of Fame http://www.aghalloffame.com/, my local ATHS is holding its meeting there on that Saturday.
  15. Not so sure you will be able to use a belt to start it as with both wheels off the ground it would most likely just spin not turning the drive train, but I could be wrong, make sure to film it I would like to see that.
  16. Thanks all for the great comments, as I take her around to different shows and events I will post updates.
  17. Post some pictures of your truck and what you have done and where you are now
  18. Looks like about another week or so and you should have it
  19. With some mods, time and effort you could make it fit, and no that is not an oil bath, it would take the paper filter which is the newer style
  20. Thanks all for the comments, I am happy placed in the Semi Truck division and did not even register for it! I registered for the 59-80 Stock Trucks
  21. Come on! those wheel covers make it look like an RV and that is hot! ((no pun intended for lack of AC))
