  1. someone a while ago had similar problems and it was the bottle there was a TB that got posted, not sure based off the limited info if it applies but I am sure you could search it in the post or someone else like Staxx will chime in.
  2. Finally had a few minutes to set down and load a couple pictures. Took the 1980 R and the B 61 to the Lathrop Tractor Show http://www.lathropantique.com/ for ATHS display. On Sunday they had a car/truck show and I entered the 1980 in the show category 59-80 stock truck so that's why I only put one in as not to compete against myself. Anyways, we ad brought the camper and so we left the show to go pack it ups and bring home and then go back to the show. We ended up running late getting back and they were starting to pack up the tables and tents and stuff. I went up to the guy I registered with and asked him if the truck had placed and he stopped and said that was a really nice truck and wow great job. He then went and handed me a trophy for 4th place in the Semi Truck Category. I was surprised as it was not what I had registered for, and because of all the other "styled" semi trucks that were there.
  3. Isn't 220cummings the guy who just opened a shop out your way and has posted some of his work on here?
  4. I thought he would have told you to get some at the pharmacy next to the hand lotion
  5. Geez Mike if you ever expand into the Oak Grove area keep me in mind, I would run one of your trucks any day, looks awesome!
  6. When it was parked???
  7. Congrats, the way trucking should be
  8. Any word on the pictures
  9. Wow that looks nice I wonder how much rust
  10. Yes I use them (John Deere) all the time they don't seem to have any issues with part list and pricing, I thought finally I will be able to find parts with out spending a half day researching the part number to give the Mack dealer because they say they can't look it up.
  11. I talked to my local Mack dealer said that I would have to have minimum of a 20 truck fleet and sign a confidential agreement not to share pricing. If anyone has different information I would be interested got 4 trucks now and tired of looking up parts through online cross reference
  12. My guess is the blue knob got pulled out and is not releasing the brakes, normally if you don't mess with the blue knob the yellow one will work like a two knob truck, sometimes the blue knob will get pulled out and until it has air will not stay/lock in. I find it hard to believe that both chambers went bad and no air is leaking, also make sure that you re adjust all 4 of the slack adjusters the same if you messed with them.
  13. I would take it back and ask for a new one since it broke the first time it caught.
  14. Thanks for posting pics Mike, wish we could have been there just didn't work out
  15. Probably just needs to be re-primed from running out and/or sucked some junk or algae
  16. Looks like the train made it out alright. Empty trailer so not much to clean up, could have been full of explosives or chemicals
  17. there you go get this one and start a dump truck fleet custom hauling
  18. Your wife going with? That hitch worked out nice. Enjoy
  19. What is a "Chicagoland pumpkin head", I have never heard that term before?
  20. just some chin whiskers, my wife doesn't like moustaches or beards so this is a compromise
  21. Changed the ignition switch out again, in the video I thought my son was having a hard time with the key but turned out that the switch had a dead spot in it. Just got some parts in the UPS and FedEx, new air leaf bushings and air bags, need to pick up some flat metal and make some air bag reinforcement mounts maybe get that done before the weekend. I bought a new old style 13 speed shifter, need to get that hooked up to.
  22. That one guy said he bought it, and I had not seen it on here in a while, I would have ran that thing back to KC
  23. Put a couple gallons of kerosene or diesel in the oil pan and let it set a few days drain and repeat, if you want you can filter it out and reuse just a little messy. Depending on how much sludge is in there may take a few flushes. A flush was a common practice back in the day, due to the paraffin and lack of filtering, this was used also in transmissions and rear ends.
  24. She was resting, the new to me 20K gooseneck trailer that I bought does not sit level enough on the R so I did not want to haul it that way. I had a 14K GN trailer that set just fine on it but did not check the new trailer until I needed to use it.
