  1. Hope you didn't have to pay for its help
  2. Nice find and save, what is he going to do with it, use it or hobby truck?
  3. Of course they are, there are few more that should be pending but they are not yet, I think we need term limits and get make the "only for me" F*ck the American people out of Washington, maybe we could get the country back on track. I have sent several letters to my senators and my congress man, and the congress man Republican Sam Graves is the only one who did not send back a generic response and he must be listening to the folks in our district because he has voted no on a lot of hot button issues. Senator Roy Blunt a career republican politician has voted yes to just about everything the president wanted along with another career Democrat Senator McCaskill. When it comes time for them I hope there is some primary challengers and get those two out.
  4. 84Superdog Since you pulled out Metallica, what about Don't tread on me Say don't tread on me Love it or leave it, she with the deadly bite Quick is the blue tongue, forked as the lightning strike Shining with brightness, always on surveillance The eyes, they never close, emblem of vigilance Liberty or death, what we so proudly hail Once you provoke her, rattling of her tail So be it Threaten no more To secure peace is to prepare for war So be it Settle the score Touch me again for the words that you'll hear evermore... Don't tread on me
  5. Avenged Sevenfold-Hail to the King, First verse Watch your tongue or have it cut from your head Save your life by keeping whispers unsaid Children roam the streets now orphans of war Bodies hanging in the streets to adore Royal fames will carve a path in chaos, Bringing daylight to the night Death is riding into town with armor, They've come to take all your rights Hail to the king Hail to the one Kneel to the crown Stand in the sun Hail to the king Sound familiar, sounds like the last white house press breifing
  6. In my opinion I would say that is probably a correct diagnosis for your truck, based off what you said, do you still run it? If so next time its down for a service have them check the timing to know for sure.
  7. Looks good, I am not much of a country fan but I like the music better than the other one
  8. I was going by memory, and after reading I am partially wrong, my truck is a 1980 what year is yours? Here is what the manual says for the transmission, mine is the TRXL107, It says it is "impractical" to use Low in any gear other than 1st. When Bobtail I use it in Low with 2nd and then shift to High than 3,4,5. When I first got the truck I tried starting out in Low 1st and High 1st and it wants to start bucking. I guess that is why I use Low 2 than high 2.
  9. yes sir it would, just need free delivery
  10. I think he made this one too but the paint turned out better http://www.ebay.com/itm/1998-KENWORTH-CUSTOM-BUILT-PICK-UP-TRUCK-350-4-SPEED-GAS-/300997245418?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4614d579ea&item=300997245418&pt=Commercial_Trucks
  11. I wish it was not so far away from me.
  12. My R model 6 speed is 5 reverse 1 low 2 low/high 3 high 4 high 5 high I read in the owners manual or a sticker not to operate in low any gears other than 1 & 2 as it can cause damage
  13. thanks, I always put the CL finds under for sale, makes it easier for some one to find, thanks for the links in the other post I was going to see what his best price is for the A model
  14. found this one last night, no connection http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/cto/4132211414.html Rare 1953 Mack B20 truck: Has original gasoline six cylinder engine that does run. The truck will yard drive but will need brake work to be roadworthy. The cab and body have minor flaws but are in better shape than most. Original Mack hubcaps all the way around. This is the earliest production number Mack B20 known to exist. Have original documents from Mack historical society that are included. All in all a really cool old truck. Clear TX title in my name. A video of the truck can be seen here = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=at0U_nRm_d8 Kevin (214) 794-3290
  15. Glad to here you doing ok
  16. will it start with the battery charger on it? How is the compression? if it was me that's what I would do next if you don't think it is low voltage. Easy test is put the charger on it for half hour or so and see if that works
  17. Do you know or have the link for that article?
  18. Thanks for the reality check, I guess I am being cheap
  19. Nice pictures, I like that old Iron as much as I do old trucks something about that stuff puts a smile on my face
  20. Where is the pictures??? I call , no pictures did not happen right!
  21. Couple Panoramic views after they closed the event, was headed to put stuff in the pickup and find a place to load up.
  22. Here is some pictures from today. I spoke with the ATHS President who owns that Ford with the funky exhaust, he said that he got the truck like and was unsure why it was done and had also thought perhaps for door clearance. He said he is going to change it but has not got to it yet.
  23. Heat on the nuts! Before when I had a bolt I couldn't get loose I used to have my minions do it, but they went on strike for health care benefits and I had to shut down. Now with Obama care I can get them back to work refinishing small block chevy crankshafts, but a stipulation to the new minion contract says no bolt removal, hence the 1" impact and a HOT wrench. My minions working in the 12ft by 10ft machine shop, under the giant oak tree in the back yard. They used to do shoes but we could not compete against china.
  24. Since I bought my 1" impact, when I get it out the nuts that used to laugh at my 1/2" drive and smile at my 3/4" drive now just jump off the thread and line themselves up on the shop floor. The ones that don't jump off and line up get the HOT wrench and then they wish they had jumped off and lined up on the floor.
