    depends on what you want to spend, if you just want gages just about any mechanical type gage that fits the hole will work. I replaced my air pressure gage with one I got from summit racing, would not show pressure over 35psi, changed it out for about $20

    I Vote this the best answer, with age they shrink up and that is a good way to make sure they are seated otherwise you can replace the cable.

    So what has Mack done or said about your letter for assistance in the repairs?

    Also make sure that the battery's were installed correct and that the terminals were not crossed. You said the starter is getting hot that means a short or drawing to many amps, were the cables hot or juts the starter? If just the starter I would start there.

    84superdog, Not sure where you were in in the mid east during your tour, but the last pictures I took don't have a lot of mountains. After spending almost 5 years of the 21, I spent in the Army there I could be wrong. I was in a HET company there too, on two separate occasions. I was there in the beginning before any armor vehicles, ACUs and Air Conditioning and the nice housing, but being deployed for 21 months I did get to see and haul the nice improvements. This was my hooch, no AC, we did eventually find a window unit to keep the heat some what at bay. Not many Mountains, notice anything familiar?
