  1. Just got back from Concordia, MO about 35 miles away, drove my "ole girl" up there first real long trip on the highway, my wife followed in my pickup with two of the kids. I was running about 1900 RPMs and my wife said I was cruzin 55-57 MPH. It was hotter than two fat rats F%&king in a wool sock! And my middle boy said he was ready for an ice cream, about 95 degrees plus heat index. Any way, here is a couple pictures of the "Winning" truck. http://www.concordiafallfestival.com/
  2. Just found it a PAI number trying to see if it is still available HST-5026 upper stud HST-5027 lower stud HWA-5028 washer outer HWA-5029 washer inner
  3. Found a part number finally about $50 from Mack Part Number 43RU39
  4. The guy I deal with sells Grand Rock they have all the Mack set ups in the book so you could go stock underneath and GO LARGE on the back. The chrome stuff I bought for my B is nice, still shiny and no cracks/blisters/discoloration/flaws, the stuff I bought for my R was all stock heavy as what they had at the Mack dealer but only about 1/2 the price.
  5. Anyone have apart number for this Mack or anyone else. No one seems to be able to find it. Over all length is 6.5", both threaded ends are 3/4" shoulder is 1" x 1 7/8"diameter and 1" of threads other end is 3/4" x 2 3/4" Nut part in the middle is 3/4"
  6. What more can I say
  7. Welcome, Nice save from the scrappers, keep posting pictures!
  8. I seen that set up on AG stuff too, it was to allow them to run in between the rows. Did you see it only has six bolts holding the fifth wheel on and two bolts missing from the rear suspension mounts. AND only one fan belt
  9. So what you are saying is if I buy this truck with the industrial engine, I would not have any issues with lack of power band/rpm range pulling a load?
  10. I was looking at a 1968 truck and the engine was swapped out for an industrial 400 Cummings. I thought industrial engines were not meant for use in on road applications because of rpm, torque, hp issues... Was not able to take a test drive but it runs well.
  11. I ordered this patch panel off ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOWER-DOOR-SKIN-MACK-TRUCK-1965-82-R-R-3-MODELS-NEW-/400561312830?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d4350943e&vxp=mtr my body guy said he could easily fix the door. After a couple days, I got the patch panel and went to see how it matched as it was not stamped. Its was 1/2" to big so I sent the patch panel back, looked like the guy just banged it out in his basement. He refunded the money and shipping with no issues and I sent it back. I guess for way less I will just hammer and bang one out myself.

  14. Nice find, I never come across any deals like that, I always hear about them and when I finally make contact or track it down they always say sorry just sold it
  15. BTW Better hurry up and get it Paul may buy it since he likes the DMs
  16. Nice pup you brought home. here you go, I think you could get at least a 36" on there with out stretching the frame, says low miles too but when I looked up the DOT had a higher mileage so maybe it doesn't work to good or works in reverse. Looks to be in great shape though. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1972-MACK-DM800-W-HYD-SANDER-AND-11-PLOW-35K-ORIG-MILES-EXC-CONDITION-/300953363827?pt=Commercial_Trucks&hash=item461237e573
