    the 1963 gmc is here in port alberni.has v6-53 green leaker that wouldn't pull a hot ----- out of a lard bucket.we only show it now.started its life as a dump truck then city bought it and pulled there low bed around town now it's in our collection.

    I like the location of the low air buzzer compared to mine on the LJ.It went down under then got restored or was it shipped somewhere in U S to be done?

    front frame is B81 series not LM frame or sping hangers,steering,etc.220 Cummins probably origanal.I think sombody put that tag on door because B model one was talen off and they needed to register it.frame serial is most likly for B81

    injector size dedermins hp.other than taking valve covers off there should be a tag on one of the covers stating injector size.N70, N65,N60,C65 etc.60's are 430 hp,65's are 456,70's are 475 etc.

    the 40 means 40 US gallons

    that means tank was built in Sept 1951 so truck is most lickly a late 51 or early 52.I would say Sept or Oct 51

    another roughly way to find out year is on the gas tank.month and year are stamp on brass U/L tag

    also would be a 510 cid gas engine.what trannys does it have?

    has wing door windows and 1950 emblems on hood.My friend's LFSW log truck was 2355 which was a early 1950's.It is now in Calif.So yours is a 1951
