  2. logtruckman:Stan had a Superliner,a red LJSW,a LJSWX sheet metal on a R model frame and running gear.I think it is now a Green dump truck.He was a logger from Maine hauling pecker poles.3 or 4 hundred per load.

  6. Caught the last 10 minutes of old move with Clark Gable called THE HUCKSTERS and at the end he is talking to his girlfriend when 3 LFs or LJs drove by at a snails pace.One tractor pulling trailer and two loaded flat decks
  7. fifth wheel is right it is a B 71 with 220 Cummins.Frame has been fish plated but head ache rack has to go or droped down to look more of its age.looks like its in good shape though.

  9. its got a double reduction rear end in it.Ratio should be on a tag on right hand side.Did you find engine serial number as to whether its a 431 or 510
  10. It was done in the late 50s or early 60s and worked.then man.put different ratios in mains and a boxs so that you different have to.don't know if you could get flanges for the bigger drive shafts.
  11. if its a 8031 C it has the big OD in 3rd..73 or .75.1st is deep under direct in 2nd.If you have the tr 720 main .78OD in 5th and a higher than 9.02 rears your going to do alright.The 7.32 is the ones I would like but have the 9.02s...78 with .813 in a box I can do 50 now.1100x22 s deep lug tires
  12. my son is the model builder.Thats British Columbia Vancouver Island wood.The big load is 128 tonnes of wood plus 43 tonnes truck and traier =171tonnes on the understandable scale.Not the three log load.

  15. Between the Silver sides and the scienic cruser they were beautiful.Came from ALBERTA to Vancouver in a Greyhound Silverside in 53.First bus ride other than local jitnys.

  21. A fellow would like to know what a 1920 restored White is worth.Hard rubber tires on rear neaumatic on front.He sent me a couple of pictures of it so if any one is interested or can shed some light on price email me and I will send pictures.It is in the San Fran bay area
