  9. Billyjay:out here in the west if the truck has front wheel brakes they must be working recardless of the trucks age.they really help a lot even when MT in a fast stop,and we all know when and where that is.check with the local laws on this.
  10. Defitanly the "L" and "B" models.No plastic to rattle apart or crack up.Newer ones just go up in smoke and leave ahellofamess on the ground.Yeh I know there not made to burn up but shit happens.Bob D

  18. Reading your reply to us it sounds like you have weak injectors.there not holding there pressure.i would start by taking them out and having them pressure checked at any diesel shop.they should hold there pressure esspesialy the ones out of B models.Bob D
  19. Duke Blue:try spinning over for about 1/2 to 1 minute with stop in out position to let cylinders warm air up in cylinder air.let sit a minute then try it with stop in.might have to do this a couple of times but it works rather than either.Bob D
  20. dennism :you will have to know axle model -front top of web right hand side.close to king pin.it is stamped into axle not axle part number.will start with FA -then number.Budd hubs or Dayton hubs.Bob D
  21. bigdogtrucker:there is a special paint remover for aluminum.they use it at the body shop my son works at for stripping paint off the parts on helicopters they do.works like a hot dam.Bob D
  22. burninoil:my books show exploded views and part numbers as well as setting preload on worm shaft.other than that theres not much to them.Bob D
