  1. if teflon coating is off you will have to replace slip joint male and female ends or a new drive shaft from Mack which will be balanced and last another 800,000 miles

  3. on the head on shot of the red mack. the head lite brackets and fenders are off a LJSWX.

  5. what 5th have you got and there an aux box.my lj would do 40 mph but I had 5th over in main, direct in 3rd in aux and 9:02 in rear @2100. I put a 4th over in aux box and now will reach 50+.mind you that's with 1100-22 rubber.

  13. 41chevy; big new red and white cl 350 has kta in it and was a MENZIE BAY truck of MAC & Blo along with the one with the driver standing beside the truck. the new yellow c&c is awaiting water tank and turntable ,bunk assembly also for MENZIE BAY. Maybe you were out here and took the pictures.The yellow one had 12v71 in it.
  14. we finally talked the shovel operators to pull them over with the grapples.I'm 1 inch shorter on one shoulder because of throwing them over.
  15. you get use to it pretty quick. keep brakes adjusted and use water on hills. NO PROBLEM. and make sure there on the pin. done it for 30 years with out a roll over or runaway. even heavier loads (170 tons was my heaviest)
  16. 130 to 150 tons .all ceder so lighter than fir or hem-ball. that size of truck packs those loads with ease.
  17. thats quite the lowbed. is that a hinge in the middle of the goose neck? jeep looks like it's mullty tired any pictures of it disconnected
  18. I heard that a guy in CAN. is doing one also with two V12 HALL-SCOTTS. Somewhere on the FRASER RIVER here in B C
  19. out here they baned them because they would go over the scales with them down then get around the corner and lift them back up. save wear and tear on the tires.

  24. see a nice factory picture of a b87sx on ebay .truck was in FRANCE maybe still there ready for somebody to restore.

I cut the eye off a shackle that was the same size as origanal eye and welded it to the broken off eye. then got a CLARK 90,000,91,000 or 121,000 lb rear brake shoe anchor pin which is the right length and diameter as the origanal welded a piece key steel across the top .ended up looking like a factory clevis. this will work for you if you have a broken clevis which was the usual case .
