    Found a guy up on long island called jeeps r us who says he can get me those rods at a cost of 45.00 each. Steep price for two 3 inch rods.

    Used to go by there every week to deliver to the Pepsi warehouse in college point. If memory serves me there is now a shopping center where tha amusement park was.

    Did the dealer thing. No luck. However the locksmith in town said he can rebuild them. So that is good news. But what I need to fix it right is the rod that goes from the back of the tumbler down to the latch assy. Neither Chrysler or the aftermarket place I deal with has them and Chrysler doesn't have a part number anymore. Bad part is both doors are in the same shape so I have repair both.

    Ok I know this forum is for big trucks but I'm about to pull my hair out. I have a 95 jeep wrangler that needs door latches lock tumblers and the rod that goes from the back of the tumbler down to the latch assy. Latches are available however the rods and tumbler are not. Cannott get them from the jeep pros at 4wd or the dealer. I can't replace anything unless I replace everything otherwise the problem will not be fixed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.     Sorry about the bad news. I haves friend that runs intermodal for jb hunt. Harrisburg to Virginia and back . Says jb intermodal has an excellent program for owner ops. They pull a lot out of the paper place in big island which is somewhat close to your neck of the woods and a place in Covington va let me know if I can help

    Lmao we've been there twice already. Never gets old. We usually combine that with an airplane ride next door at the airport. Took my dad for a biplane ride last year.that was fun. My wife and daughter went kayaking on the alligator river last year ,said they had a great time. They are planning on visiting bodie island lighthouse this year. Said something about going hang gliding off the dunes at kitty hawk this year. Thang our good lord for good insurance lol
