The eletric malfunction light came on and codes are telling us that its the water sending unit. After bypassing the sensor the warning light still comes on and shuts dowm power. This is a 1999 DM 690s with a 300 and 7 speed .Has anyone had this problem and can you give me a cure.We cleaned all grounds and checked the wiring harness and This is my sons best truck in the fleet and we just can figure it out. The Mechanic says it could be a communication problem Like what the heck does that mean .Please respond I you have any type of similler issues.Thank you Phil. P.S. I wont by a freightliner!
