  6. YEP!!! Having those expensive electric ears stashed away in the medicine cabnet sure does help out in just mumbling something incohearant when the wife asks those loaded questions. Brocky
  7. David The auction is about 7-7:30 PM on friday night. It contains mostly Brockway parts, Various vender (Cummins,Detroit,Eaton, etc) shop manuals and literature, two years ago there was a complete truck, and last year a large 3x6 foot statue of a Huskie. Craig Morgan is in charge of it and I do not have his email addy. Try Stan Augustine at Saugustine@stny.rr.com and he should have some info as well as Craigs email. Vinny You better have your Papa have a serious talk with your mother!! You can buy school clothes and paperwork on a Sunday or at night, But there is only one day for a 100th anniversary truck show. Heck have him tell her that he needs your assistance to unload the golf cart!! Mike I hope you can make it up. I am driving just a tad further.. the long side of 750-800 mile from below Greenviille SC. Brocky
  8. Hey Guys Just a reminder that this Friday and Saturday, August 10th and 11th, is the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Brockway Trucks in Cortland NY. Friday: At the Brockway museum on Route 11 north of town is the meet and greet, look at the trucks, BBQ dinner, auction, and fire works display. Saturday: Parade starts at 8:30 AM from the museum down RT 11 onto Main Street in downtown Cortland where the trucks are on static display until 3:30PM. This being the 100th anniversary the BTPA is expecting 200 Brockways to attend. Brocky
  9. Rudy Anmother place to check for used 24.5 Dayton type ( spoke) rims are some trucking companys who are phasing out their older trailers with spoke wheels and replacing them with hub piloted Budd (disc) wheels. I got 10 22.5 rims for FREE that way from the company I worked for. Brocky
  10. Mike Will be looking forward to meeting you in Cortland. Brocky
  11. Jim Am thinking it was Pittbburgh Airport? Brocky
  12. Here is a Howe-Coleman Brockway at Cortland in 2010. If I remember correctly it belongs to Clarence Ritchie?
  13. Mad Dog Where are you??? And where is the truck located?? Try Posting your transportation request on both www.brockwaytrucks.org and www.forums.justoldtrucks.com forums. There is a possibility that someone headed to the Brockway 100th Anniversary Celebration in Cortland NY on August 10-11th would like to make a little fuel money on the way?? Brocky
  14. That is a neat Truck. I wonder what 4X4 conversion unit is under the front end? Or did Mack build their own?? If it was a Brockway I would definately be interested!! Brocky

  22. And when you WOKE UP the DREAM was over!!!!!! Brocky
  23. Fire4t3 Yes, I was at Macungie. Am 6'4" 250 with yellow tint glasses and depending on which day a Brockway or HVTA shirt. Think I remember you, out by the transport parking?? Talked with so many people and am lousy remembering names!! Brocky
  24. Red Horse I have a 2006 F250 with the 6.0 Power Stroke and Ford 5 speed automatic. Strictly stock, no chips or upgrades. Brocky
  25. I would presume that your 12k trailer would handle it OK, if it is long enough to the tractor on. Watch out for front overhang getting into your tailgate. Just be sure you have good synthetic grease in the wheel bearings and the heaviest load range tires you can find to fit and properly inflated. Your F350 will do the job fine. My F250 with a heavy 32ft enclosed gooseneck and Diamond T pick up grosses right at 20,000 and handles like a baby carriage. From South Carolina up 77, 81 and 84 to Springfield with cruise set at 68-70 MPH got 10.8 MPG overall. Brocky
