  7. There are a lot of those double wing plows working in the Tug Hill Plateau area of NYS between Syracuse and Watertown. Week be fore last they got 6 foot of snow in about 3 days, Plus some wind to keep it fluffed up!! They need that big equipment to open the back roads. Vinny probably has them coming right by his front door. Maybe he can get us some pictures??

  9. I can remember seeing Dorn's around Syracuse when I started with Ithaca Delivery in 67.
  10. Jim That is a good looking Mack. But a real one would have a big V on the front and double wings..
  11. Here is a link to a lot of snow removal equipment. The topic is over 500 pages long and most of the old stuff is in the first 200, but has newer Macks all the way to the end. Have to hunt for them, but there are a lot of pictures of RM 4X4's. http://www.plowsite.com/showthread.php?t=20489
  12. Bad Dog The DT ones before the white purchase would have been either 6 or V8 Internationals. After that REO gas jobs and probably Cummins Diesels. Cannot remember if they uses any Detroit's??
  13. The Bullnose's have been there for the last 20 years. There is a blue/black third one that moves around once in a while. A few years ago someone on the ATHS site checked them out and the owner thinks they are made out of GOLD!! The B models have only been out about 5-7 years. They yellow one was originally a mixer/dump.
  14. The Navy Seabee's had a 6X6 whit the Dodge cab in the 60's. There used to be a junk yard full of them on US 49 north of Gulfport Miss.

  17. The Super 8 was nice and clean, reasonable prices, refrig and micro but no coffee pot in room,24 hr coffee in lobby, no problems.. Even had white Americans that spoke English working the desk!!! First night went down the road to Cracker Barrell, the second night just walked next door to a great Pub!! A couple of beers and big a$$ good sandwiches with no worries about driving afterword. My buddy and I ran all back roads from the bottom of Fancy Gap back to Winston Salem with a stop at the Keystone Museum on Sunday on the way home. Leon said it was the best trip we had taken since roaming all over northern New Mexico and Colorado on our way to the ATHS Colorado Spgs show in 2007.
  18. I spent 3 hours at the museum on the way home from Lititz. A Fantastic place you can lose a whole day there!! They bought 6 or 7 trucks at Del DeYoung's auction.
