  1. But that Busch lite is made by the same Corporation!!!!
  2. I am with Tom, I have seen the bank in Mars Hill ME read -35*, with frost on the screw heads in the bunk!! But the coldest I was out in was top loading a fuel tanker, at frozen river level, in Odgensburg NY at -28* below and God only knows what the wind chill factor was!!!!
  3. In 70 when I worked for the predecessor of Matlack hauling petroleum nights, from Syracuse NY to the St Lawrence River Valley, with tag axle White coupe cab with a 220 and 10 speed, I had to chain up several times to get from the main road into the distributor and back out of his tank farm. Also learned to leave an S curve in the discharge hose so when I was still half loaded I could move the drives out of the ice pockets made by the warm tires!!!!
  4. Before you dig deeper, take all the wires off (including the 90* brass strap to the starter housing) and CLEAN all the surfaces with a file or emery cloth to make sure you are getting good contacts.. I have seen many times where 1/16th turn on a nut cures the no start problem..
  5. When I lived in Penna I was the same.. That Franklin stove heated the whole house..
  6. Mech, Those big dump bodys are for soft coal, which is fairly light, not to mention those "West By God" coal truckers never knew what weight regulations were!!!
  7. IT is one of those "6 of one and a half dozen of the other" Questions.. Even as a hobby truck I think I would try to locate a reasonable priced cut off with air ride and graft it on....
  8. Paul, when I met Tony in 2015 he see like a very open man.. His collection gallery building is further back from the road behind the old CAT shop.. Only two ways to find out is to call ahead or just walk up to the parts counter and ask!!!!
  9. Was that video taken in Tony Champions showroom????????
  10. Paul can probably elaborate on me, BUT the Australian "Out Back", where the flying doctors operate has a lot of ROOM!!!!!! The Flying Doctors operate in rural areas and small town where there is not that much vehicular traffic. And the people on the roads have been educated to expect such happenings. I am assuming the picture Paul posted may be a news shot in relation to an accident on the highway???
  11. Terry is Correct!!!!!! Especially the R models.. I am not sure about B models???
  12. Look around at Tractor Supply or Northern HYd,, They seem to carry an assortment of lawn mower replacement tires????
  13. I know the videos my son in law take of his plane, the propeller looks warped as it turns.
  14. Vlad, There are not many"Flintstone's" up here in the States.. I vote to keep it as an original hardnose!!!
  15. An American "Flintstone" single axle no less!!
  16. It varies greatly from truck to truck depending on the load weight hauled and terrain operated on. You are listing a B 67 as your truck.. Bob-tailing to shows I would hazard a guess of 10 to 12 MPG???? In ANY situation your fuel mileage will depend a lot on how heavy your right toe is!!!!! Be EASY AND GENTLE!!!!
  17. The name on the door says "Anders Transfer"" Is that any relation to the late Bob Anders of the WNC Chapter with the Maroon LJ with a 400 Cummins???
  18. The Canadians and I presume the Pommy's have Boxing Day
  19. Here is a link to an article on the Daily Caller Website which describes the situation USA is in very well:: https://dailycaller.com/2023/12/25/this-christmas-lets-be-thankful-that-american-values-are-more-resilient-than-we-sometimes-fear/
  20. Vlad, It was also great to meet you in person at Macungie that year!!! Hope I can visit with you again..
  21. Paul can probably confirm / expand on this.. The northern 2/3rds of the continent winter is never that cold?? 30*F +/- 10*F (American temp).. BUT farming in Australia takes Acres and acres of land!!!!!! The cattle station (Ranch) we visited west of Ayers Rock had over a million acres to run 4000 head of beef..
  22. YES he is!!!!!!!!
  23. Send TJC Transport an email / PM thru his profile picture.. He is a moderator and can answer your question
  24. Also enough frame length to mount a roll back?? Might have shorten it in back of the drive axle?? That Diamond REO you pictured looks about right to convert into a roll back??
  25. It is either an A or E model which would place it about 1950 +/_ a couple years.. some of the other may come closer..
