  2. Mech, I will have to look for some pictures of Dan's Value Liner.. I saw it at both Lexington KY and Reno..
  3. That is an Aussie picture!!
  4. If Dan Thomas(???) of Medley ORE brings his Aussie Value Line to York PA next year take a good look at it... Mech your explanation goes along with Paul's statement about stability on Aussie road trains..
  5. Where in Wyoming did you get that answer from??? In most all states the individual DMV offices do NOT know what they are talking about with Antique / Historical Plates!!!! AND you will get a different answer from every person you talk to!! Do not be bashful,, Contact a Diesel Cop, In whatever form Wyoming lists them.. They SHOULD have computer access to what the law actually reads!!! There is also the Antique Truck Club of America, Wyoming Rocky Mountain Chapter, contact James Dixon, PO BOX 636, Newcastle WY 82701, phone 207-746-2788, email: jdixon@dixonbrosinc.com, who can point you in the right direction for good info..
  6. DCW,, Probably a topic in the antique section would find more visitors????
  7. It is NOT just the west coast, same down here, Like they forgot how to cook when they crossed the Mason Dixon line!!!! YES!! A good Italian HOT sausage on a piece of Italian loaf bread... With onions and peppers!!! But my Georgia raised 2nd wife is till trying to get me to eat Pinto beans and Cornbread...
  8. Mech is right.. Uphill with no weight on the drive axle... Will have to build a place to turn around at the bottom.. Also it WILL Be a lot SAFER pulling out onto the road!!!!
  9. Mech, NO I did not!!! Hope to be there next year..
  10. Up here in the States the only one I have seen is on the Valueliner that the Mack man in Oregon imported from Australia.. His is larger and has a ball bearing race in it as well as a locking pin.. I forget the exact reason for it now other than it was used when pulling road trains on dirt/gravel roads.
  11. I have found the best way to get individual pictures is to stake out a place on the parade route and get then as they come by.. In the display area they are usually too close together and a lot of spectators..
  12. Bob, Also keep your eye out for Tom Millard "Olsdpwr" who is the man who started to Brockway sub section of "Other Truck Makes" Both his tractors are red and white immaculate show pieces..
  13. Paul, When we were down in 2015 Archie Baines in Victoria had a just post war Model 88 Chassis, cowl, and front clip in his boneyard..
  14. The blue wrecker on the trailer will definitely be there.. But i doubt if the 761 from Down Under will..
  15. Paul Last I knew Ed Edmonstin in Dubbo QLD (??) has an late 70's 761 tractor repowered with an 8V92T. Originally imported from Ithaca NY USA.
  16. When you get to Cortland give us some updates!! AT least in print if no pictures..
  17. Diamond T tilted some engines in short hood models to get the doghouse under the dash.. Geoff mentioned the White 9000, and Autocar made a snub nosed model also , Not sure about REO???
  18. Bob that is the short nose 9500, They also made a long nosed one
  19. I think it is similar to a milk shake??
  20. And in Louisiana a "Po Boy".. As well as the cold ones that Mowerman pictured there are hot ones with Italian meat balls or sausage and sauce, sliced beef with peppers and onions called Philly Steak,
  21. It is always the 2nd weekend of August, So put in on next years calendar NOW!!!! They usually have 120 to 140 Brockways, 2012 was the record year with 163.. You can spend most of the day touring the 4 museums as well as the Italian supper on Friday, followed by fireworks at dusk.. AND The Finger Lakes region of central NY is a very beautiful tourist area with several State Parks. My wife can stand the museums on Friday and then drops me off at the show and goes touring for thrift shops and yard sales on Saturday..
  22. Mech, The Brockway show is next weekend in Cortland / Homer NY Here is their webpage::: https://www.brockwaytrucks.org/
  23. Great Idea!! SC Law reads good for show, parades, AND "road test after service"... That covers a multitude of sins!!! Including going to the dump, Lowes, and hardware store, as well as Sunday ice cream cone!!
  24. OD,, You will wish you kept the ratty ole Ford when Miss Zena says "Hell NO you you are not putting that dirty old stuff in MY truck!!"
