  1. His real name is Jerry Ayers, from the Roanoke VA area, if you can search him down other ways.
  2. Welcome Back!!! You sorta disappeared shortly after the Harrisonburg show.. I hope that your health stayed OK.. Thank you for your help at Harrisonburg..
  3. NO!! the 24.5 is a tubeless tire and the center is grooved in to let the tire stretch over the edge and the 1100/22 is a tube type with a slot for the valve stem.. 24.5 tubeless will replace the 22 inch OK as far as fitting on the Dayton spokes or 10 stud Budds
  4. Congratulations!!! All of the above is a sign of good parenting and instilling the sense of responsibility that will reward them all their life..
  5. Here In South Carolina gas is in the vicinity of $3.25 and diesel bounces around between $3.59 and $3.69..
  6. Also consider and price 24.5 tubeless...
  7. I still have my CDL.. But it is the interstate Excepted one, which says neither I or the truck I am operating can receive any compensation, and that I would need a physical to turn it back into a regular CDL.. And NO WAY could I pass the physical!!!
  8. Same here!!!
  9. Have a great Day!!!!!!
  10. They would totally lost on one of the 12 or 16 speed Spicers with two flipper valves and you had to go thru neutral on every shift. Pull it in neutral flip the air selector then put it back into the same gear!!! In 1967 The truck I took my road test on in Syracuse NY was a 1953 Brockway 154 single axle with a flathead Continental, 5 speed main, and air shift 2 speed rear..
  11. I am afraid that our grandchildren are going to have to learn to eat with chop sticks!!!
  12. In the first picture are those the truck tracks in the ditch???? And the white behind behind the tailgate is ice from the swamp??? Looks like it laid over real gently??

I agree with the neat picture.. What kind of treat did you have in your hand????????
  14. Happy Birthday!!! Do not let the vodka harm you..
  15. 20 inch tube type converts to 22.5 tubeless 22 inch tube type converts to 24.5 tubeless The 22.5 rims are available new.. 24.5 might be a little harder to find?? You can put some wanted ads out to find used ones.. Storage trailer companys might have some used left.. container chassis shops would also have them.
  16. I knew race relations went backwards 20 years under Obumma, BUT was not aware of this craze of gender changing was so popular / controversial under the Biden administration until I subscribed to The Daily Caller news site.
  17. In reference to switching the hubs / wheels to hub piloted Budds: IMHO, I am more of a purist!!! Please leave the period correct Spoke / Dayton wheels on the truck!! Unless you are a freak for a lot of BLING!! Just changing the rims and tires to tubeless 22.5 radials will not be that noticeable at shows and improve the ride and handling.. Especially since you will be operating it only as a hobby vehicle with short distances traveled per trip and no or light loads..
  18. TJC, Thank you for the info.. I have never operated one, just watched..
  19. Swishy I do not think we have the folding neck trailers up here in the States?? Just detachable neck trailers, But I think the lift mechanism to reattach should be able to lift the front of the trailer a few inches???

  22. Paul, I know you have to keep the Princess happy, BUT BUT better you than me!! I do not think I could take the town life.. I need my elbow space!!
