  2. Doug's summer location is Harrisville NY. Winter in Central Florida, A dedicated Mack man I know he was making battery boxes and might know of other parts.

  6. Paul, Thank You.. I had never heard that part of his PT-109 career and will have to do some more research..
  7. Check out the storage trailer rental / sales places.. I got some when the Dayton wheel trailers were taken out of service and placed into storage use.

  9. I also store them on my computer, then use postimage.com to transfer them to BMT.

  11. There should be a serial number plate on the right 1/3 of the dash.. The first letter will identify the engine, the next 3 digits is the model number, the next 2 letters identifies purpose and drive axles, then the 5 digit serial number.. Email me thru here and I can send you Tom Millard's (Oldspwr) email address.

  17. DCW, As of a July 7th email from Chad Johnson, from Mooresville, Brad Wike is thinking about moving it back a week as Autofair is in town on the 10th w/e and they are paying Brad big money to bring his Bandit and Duel trucks. Have not heard anything since. Please send me your email address.
  18. Crown Coach company, I believe, was based in California.. And the tandem was part of the screwy weight laws in the land of Fruits and Nuts!!!!
  19. When jumping a totally dead battery the battery will absorb mot of the juice coming to it and therefore you have limited energy going to the rest of the vehicle.. Try unhooking the battery cables and jump directly to them???
  20. Excellent thought on keeping it!!! Leave it as a drill truck for show, or replace it with a roll back for hobby use???
  21. Yes it looks like a 361.. Send the whole serial number to Tom Millard (Oldspwr) and he can tell you more about it.. The Mack Museum used to have all the build sheets on Brockways..
  22. WOW!!! What a barn full!!!! That Diamond T 201 looks in good shape All the stainless is there.. There were only 7000 built from mid 1938 to end of 1949.. Should bring big $$$$!! Tommy, if you can get me the serial number, on data plate on right side of cowl under the hood, I can narrow down the year.

  24. You must answer to yourself: What are your going to put on the tray?? And what are you going to pull with the trailer hitch??? And At the same time??? Then figure out your turning clearance of the towed vehicle.. And build from there..
  25. My first car at age 14 was a 1951 Olds 2 door hardtop. Paid $35 for it and beat the $h!!t out of it in the cow pasture until the Hyramatic quit!! Sold the engine to a man for a stock car and junked the rest..
