  1. But that does NOT work when the building architects put the doors VERY close together trying to get as many doors as possible in the least amount of building space!! When I worked for Wrangler Blue Jeans they had some plants designed for 96 wide trailers that when the 102's came out the open doors were actually touching each other..
  2. BOB #2 when you replace the seals, and probably the brake shoes, Check the wheel bearings close!! Worn bearings will be loose and cause seal problems.. #5 Clean out the dirt behind the pedal then soak it good with penetrating solvent, work it, and repeat several times..
  3. Vlad Your info is probably better than mine and I stand corrected!! I had heard the term used in a generic way but Buss bar must have more marine or aviation usage than automotive??
  4. Skippy, I hope 18 inch in the head board will not cover your very nicely Mack name????
  5. Vlad, He left off an "s".. He means buss bar, as in big junction block..
  6. Larry, I know I am an old fart who likes originality.. And Spokes are period correct!! To me too much bling takes away the Historical look..
  7. Larry, LEAVE THE SPOKES!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. This is the "Penny Ann" sitting in Tony Champions gallery the day we visited in 2015. You can see the placcard that Swishy posted leaning against the drive tire.

  13. Dan Thanks much for the 320 info.
  14. My wife and I went to the ATHS National show in Yakima Wash. It was our first time to the Pacific Northwest. Ran all back roads west of the Mississippi river. Went from Yakima down to the Redwood forest in the north west corner of Calif then back north on US 101 along the coast to Above Seattle to get on the ferry for Alaska.. Then back home on land!!

  17. Dan Please give us a little more info on this 320 model.. It must have been quite a Hoss as the 220's (and was there a 240?) were about the biggest I have ever seen???
  18. Looks like it was a great local show!!! Thanks for taking the time to post.. Are you going to be in Leesburg FL next month??

  20. The heck with shooting them!! Let's go back to public hangings!!!!! Might make the Ba$trds think twice???
  21. In the late 70's and early 80's I remember taking trucks to Central Spring. They did good work then!!
  22. Tom Millard posted the entire Brockway Huskydrive information in the Brockway section of Other Trucks in the Odds and Ends area.
  23. Thanks Tom!! It is more info than I knew..
  24. Tom, thank you for this info. I understood also that they stayed separate until about 1970 when the design / engineering departments started working together using the F model Mack for the 400 series and then the Sheller Globe conventional. In 1963 I worked for Crispell Automotive outside Ithaca NY and the Brockway Salesman would contract Dick Crispell to do some warrantee work so the trucks would not have to go all the way to the factory branch in either Elmira or Cortland. Also there is a Huskydrive question in the "Older Mack Engine" topic of the Antique Mack discussion area.
  25. In the mid 60's into about the early 70's Brockway had what they called "Huskydrive" which used that Cummins 270 with a 5 speed behind it with a 2 speed rear that you only used in 5th to actually make it a 6 speed. A lot of the regional freight haulers who did not run heavy used this combo. Oldspwr , Tom Millard, can probably tell us how many were made??
