  1. At Syracuse in 2003 someone had a truck with a Shepard diesel in it with a Shepard diesel farm tractor on the back.. My memory is too short to remember exactly what it was without digging out my old Showtime books.
  2. Pawel Thank you much for the pictures.. I always enjoy pictures from all over the world.. Especially the locally taken ones like these versus the tourist/travel publications. Is all of Poland basically flat plains like you have pictured or do you have some hills / mountains also??
  3. KS That is a neat article.. Thanks for posting.. I know that they are Italian styling, But some of them sure do look like they have an English background.. Or as the Aussies would say " A Pommey Truck"
  4. KS Thank You.. That Salmon Chase name did not compute in my memory bank either..
  5. Also consider adding some Dyna Mat.. I think Larry Freightrain here has added it to his and over on the Brockway Trucks site Tom Millard (Oldspwr) has a very detailed photo posting of adding it to his fathers Brockway 361.
  6. Contact Daryl Gushee Heavy Haul in Glouster ME. He has a website. If he does not have a truck in your area he might know someone who does?
  7. Vlad Thanks for taking the time to post these pictures. I am always interested in seeing what other parts of the world have to offer..
  8. Thanks for the pictures!! Glad to see you are back in good health and acting normallly again!! Can I borrow your cleaning lady to do my office???? Wife might not like it tho!! About 10 years ago I loaded a couple of loads of furniture on the south side of Lynchburg going to the Officers Club / Motel in Pensacola FL. It might have taken a little longer and a few pull ups but at least you did NOT put rutts and tire tracks in their lawn, So that makes you a lot better "Wheel Man" than the brand name "Steering Wheel HOLDERS"!!!
  9. Wayne In reference to Paul's comment on ethanol gas. Besides the water seperation problem, that s**t will eat up all the rubber components / gaskets in the lines, fuel pump, and carbs... Here is a link to a listing of stations which sell NON ethanol gas. I use it exclusively in ALL my pre 2000 year vehicles and even new small engines. http://www.pure-gas.org/
  10. Also try Tom Warren Restorations in Amarillo Tex as I believe he can make them also 806-374-3056
  11. McCrafty I think Grayhair just got lucky without knowing it!! There is probably a steel tower on top of the ridge behind the cactus.. He just lined them up perfectly!!
  12. I have one similiar to the 2nd one in my garage.. Doubt if it is that old?? Probably about 1920 +/-??? will try to get a picture later
  13. The bus garage where I worked soon after high school has some pusher school buses with a full air clutch. Just another tredle valve and a brake chamber on the clutch push rod.. Worked good after you got used to it.. Just DO NOT park it in gear!!!!! No clutch til you built up air!!
  14. You folks have a fantastic facility.. I am glad you were able to share it with the Vets.. Thank You!!!
  15. Good to hear you have things under control.. Enjoy your Rehab therapy.. it is not as bad as some have said and it works..
  16. Check in the main office of your states Diesel Cops?? In SC if neither the vehicle nor the driver does not receive ANY form of compensation a CDL is NOT required, Especially with Antique plates.
  17. Our prayers and condolences go out to you and your family. Have a safe trip to Salem and look forward to talking with you at Macungie
  18. KBS also has a good frame paint similiar to POR 15 which can be applied with a brush and look sprayed. Check with Eddy Lucast on the Just Old Trucks site.
  19. Dave Great to see you on here again.. How is Suzie doing? Cool Find.. Too bad some people let a yard like this go instead of selling when they were restoreable.. Brocky
  20. Red Yes it does. My second picture shows them swung out.
  21. Thanks Barry!!! Always enjoy his news updates.
  22. Paul The Marmon was silver grey with black striping.. Owned by Tom Trenka of Pelion SC
  23. And a couple of more
  24. This was the 4th year the Mid Easter Chrome Stop on exit 125 of I-26 in Gaston SC sponsored a Cruise In of all trucks. This year I counted 40 trucks about equally split between Antique / Historical and working trucks of which about 4 or 5 fell into the Show and Shine class. Complete with a pulled pork BBQ lunch and fund raiser for the Special Olympics children.
  25. This showed up at the Mid Eastern Chrome Stop "Cruise In" in Gaston SC last Saturday.. Twin Steer 2 drives, then a tag axle, then a powered steerable final axle. The operator said the boom goes up 200 feet.
