  1. Ken You will have to contact Mike H Superdog directly to get an honest answer to your questions..I Know He stayed in the Bulldog Hilton last year at Springfield MO and may not want to put all that info out in public.
  2. Basically it is how much a fan of a brand a person is.. A dedicated REO person would go further and spend more than the average Joe.
  3. Here is a link to it.. Be sure to let the ad run thru then it plays OK
  4. Wonder if that Diamond T was stock under the hood??? Have not watched any of it.. They seem to get WAAAY too much money for stuff at that auction!! Did anybody hear what the DT went for??
  5. Tom Thanks for the pictures.. How do those coils on skids ride in a van with no way to tie them down??? Must have to turn corners VEEEERRRRRY carefully???
  6. Mark Thanks for the info.. Bet that last R model is praying for NO crosswind!!
  7. Part of this sped limiter issue also comes from the corporate bean counters who have NO experience with trucking..If some so called "experts" say that slower speeds will improve fuel mileage, that means we are more efficent, have to buy less fuel and therefore improve the bottom line. They forget that one lawsuit resulting from an accident wipes out the profit from a LOT of miles of .5 MPG savings. I used to work for one such company(Cut to 60 MPH), sure am glad I was able to retire!!
  8. Mark Was that last picture taken at a NASCAR race??? The Yellow and Blue edge of the very right hand COE looks like Dale Earnhart Wrangler colors?? Wrangler also had some Pete COE's in their company fleet painted like that during that era.
  9. Mike It sure looks like you married a good COOK!!!! Congrats!!
  10. In conjunction with the Dacusville Heritage Assn Family Farm Days located at 3147 Earls Bridge Road Easley SC 29650
  11. In conjunction with the Oneal COG Family Farm Day located at 3723 HWY 101 North, Greer SC 29651
  12. Plenty of Macks, especially RM's, But it takes a month of Sundays to go thru the whole topic.
  13. Tippatone and others If you like snow removal equipment, take a stroll to this link, The topic is 10 years and 570 pages long!! The first 200 pages cover most of the antique stuff., http://www.plowsite.com/showthread.php?t=20489
  14. Ken Hopefully Doug Maney will reply to your Idea of Gerharts as well as any other parking places in East Central PA. As far as the ATHS convoy/tour after the show they have always been WAY OVER PRICED and for the big dollar boys as far as I am concerned, BUT each to their own.. I think they all started in 2007 with the climb up Pikes Peak???
  15. Ken What is an UTV??? As far as the insurance, You must have some kind of liability coverage, in case you run over somebody or into somebodies truck, Never have done it my self but would think it would be a rider on either your home owners or an all vehicle fleet policy. I have the same agent for both(State Farm) so I would check with her. I know Daryl Gushee, (on JOT and ATHS forums) was having trouble getting liability on his unlicensed vehicles before 2012 Springfield Mass and ended up with something thru the Northeast Rockbusters chapter of HCEA
  16. I have the one in my avitar, have not done anything about restoring it. Was born and raised on them. Cortland is halfway between Binghamton and Syracuse on I-81, probably 5-6 hours from the GW Bridge.. let you figure how long it take you to get there. 2 choices: I-80 to Pocono to I-380 to Scranton and up I-81 or take I-87 to Harriman and up NY 17 to Bingo and I-81. Their website is brockwaytrucks.org
  17. tippatone No they were not, Autocar was started in the 1910's and were made in Ardmore PA and were bought out by White in 1953 and the name/badge now belongs to Volvo. Brockway started as a wagon maker in Cortland NY in 1865, First prototype truck in 1910 and formally made a seperate corporation in 1912, Bought out by Mack in 1956, closed due to labor dispute in 1977. Have a museum in Cortland open all year and have a big gathering, parade, and show the second weekend of August with anywhere from 120 to 160 Brockways attending.
  18. Maddog 93 I hope I did not upset you with my post.. Was born and raised in Ithaca and Syracuse. Know where you are headed for, have run 10 many times from Sprakers to Sharon Spgs to save toll headed for Albany empty.. Maddog 13407 Give us a closer location than upstate and we can probably find you a ride.
  19. Maddog93 Heck, Port Chester ain't upstate,, It's just a suburb of the Bronx!!!
  20. Ken I knew what Randy was trying to say, BUT I got my spurs on tonight!!!! Do not know about York but will plan on the TK Nunnery at Macungie this year. Mad Dog 13407 Check with Mike Yarnell for a parking space??? What part of Upstate are you in?? Maybe some of the guys on the Brockway site can help on a ride??? Will Vinny be coming down in 4 wheels or the U???
  21. Knew that name Avella rang a bell.. Mr. & Mrs. Fraer bring this nice Brockway from there to Winchester and some others.
  22. Heck Yardo, DRIVE IT!!!! That would be less than $200 bucks for fuel, It will cost you probably as much or more to get some one to haul it.. I will spend that much for fuel get to get my Diamond T there one way.. Then on to Doylestown and Mucungie and then back home..
  23. They were excellent trucks.. Best known for combo on and off road work..
  24. Tim if you are still in NZ take a look at the museum listed about half way down this page. Had forgot about it when you were posting earlier http://forums.aths.org/175993/Its-on,-the-ATHS-Great-Truck-Adventure-Down-Under?PageIndex=5
  25. That close to the bottom I would say a water freeze??? A lot of old farm tractors had this kind of "blow out" when parked outside and rain came in thru the worn out shifter boot.
