We had steak the other night.. Even had leftovers! Cut them up in small pieces to add the the Bird's Eye Viola beef lo mein.. That is a good kit if you add more meat, onions, and mushrooms ( use the juice from a small can instead of the water the kit calls for) and add some soy sauce and 5 Aaisin spice powder, and whatever you want to enhance it...

I am glad that I live out in the boondocks!!!! Even in town, Laurens SC, Our heaviest traffic from 4 to 6 PM is what you consider light.. I live on a fairly main road and only hear a siren go by the house maybe once a week..

I am with you and Other Dog, After all interstates and tight time schedules, I run the back roads as much as possible.. We did a lot of traveling soon after we retired.. The big one was to the ATHS show in Yakima Wash. All back roads west of the Appalachian Mountains, with the exception of when the old US highway got on an Interstate for a few exits.. With a slight detour by way of Fairbanks Alaska!! 6 weeks and 15k miles on the ground not counting the ferry from Bellingham WA to Haines AK. We went to the first ATHS show in Reno and back roads from west of Nashville. Could not do the Rocky Mtn Natl Park as US 36 thru the park was still closed by snow on the first of June!!, But did US 50 all the way from Provo UT to Reno.

The Mack Jr was built by REO and had a REO cab. This cab is squarer than the E model Mack and also has a split windshield... Quite possibly you saw a Mack Jr.??????? The first picture is an A- 20 Mack pickup. The A series and the E series were very similar in design. The second is a Mack JR under restoration. Both Pictures were taken at Tony Champions facility in Rockhampton, QLD, AU on our tour in 2015. That might be an E model crew cab behind to nose of the A20 and there are 2 L cabs behind the back of the A20.

I met and talked with Mike at the ATHS Des Moines 2016-17(???) show.. He had had a stroke and was recovering OK.. posted later he got his CDL back. Then he got sick again, I think it was cancer that finally got him??????? He had a lot of stuff!!! Heard about 150 Macks of some description parked in the Cow Pasture behind his farm. His son, Mikey, was on here for a while after Mike Passed, But have not heard from him lately..

Dumb Butt question!!! I realize Ireland is a completely different country, BUT Are there any exceptions for Antique/Historical licenced vehicles??????? Does that law apply to all vehicles????? Obviously it would be impossible to get tires to fit most preWW 2 cars???

Tommy, I am even behind you, 7 cars including a Scout, 6 pickups and now a dually flatbed truck. Plus 1 Diamond T pick up (Restored and running) and a 55 F-600 Ford grain body, plus 2 Brockways that were never running and a DT 921 COE.

Bob, Check around for companies who are changing out to Budd type wheels on trailers.. Some may have some 11R22.5 rims available?? Possibly the shops who service container chassis might have some 10:00 / 20 tires in stock??? At least on the east coast.. I have not pulled containers in the last 12 years and at the time I retired a few of the companies were going to 11/ 22.5..

How long did it run before shutting down again?? How long does it sit??? A battery tender / minder is cheap and might solve the problem???? check their specs, you might need either a heavier one for both 12V batterys?? or one for each???

The 6613 I had attached to a 555 Cummins, not in a truck so no stickers, had a splitter box on the back like a 9513.. Was told when I bought it, it was and underdrive splitter??? Came out of an asphalt oil distributor / sprayer truck..

That switch would date back to the "all or nothing" Jake.. Before you could select how many heads you wanted the Jake to use.. Just a simple two position switch so if you still have the face plate any new switch would work..

Bob, Yes with Amazon having their own trucking I can see where it is hurting both UPS and FedEx.. I have about 100 shares of FedEx stock, via Roadway Package Svc, which date back to the late 70's Roadway bonus stock I received by not going to work for another freight company (Matlack) when I quit being a Roadway dock foreman. Now I am curious as to how a spin off will give me shares in both companies???
