  1. Will say it is an L model Mack.. By the air cleaner possibily repowered?? But at lease vented with no side panels. We used to run our Brockway Gas jobs with the hood sides folded under that way in the summer.
  2. Here is the response from the Just Old Trucks "What Am I" Expert Thanks Brocky. This has a familiar look to it, I'll have to see what I can dig up. I think McCullough Road King is the right answer. Take care,Jeff
  3. Paul That is a very interesting Brockway.. Also looks like it had center point steering?? Wonder how he kept i diesel cool with that small radiator??
  4. Vlad Thanks for the pictures.. A heartfull memory for a lot of people. And a great experience for the owners of the fantastic vehicles.
  5. Gotta slip in a couple of pictures of Brockways. These are by far the best Father and Son restorations I have ever seen.
  6. GearHead It was great to meet and visit with you. Glad you were able to get to see some of the sights. If you ever get into the Carolina's keep me posted and I will attempt to do Yardo's "Julie the Cruise Director" job down here. If you run into Geoff tell him I said Hi. Brocky
  7. Great Job and congrats on the museum piece Either way I will get to see it as I am planning on doing the museum on Friday Morning
  8. I knew I had not seen Much of them recently... Sorry to hear of another company going down the tubes.. There were several of their trailers parked behind the Keystone museum last fall on our way home from Lititiz
  9. Chuck Thanks for looking up the Brockway Picture.. It is a sharp unit.. Actually a Big Thank You for all the pictures from this show. Brocky
  10. Chuck Do you have a picture of the Brockway behind the B-61 Mixer?? Looks to be painted the same as the mixer??
  11. Jason Primary answer: Sunrise to Sunset In actuality 7-8 AM till 5-6 PM. I think the picnic is about 5 PM. You should be able to find your filter. This flea market has a lot more parts than most shows. If you do not see one ask some of the vendors who might as they are apt to have one still at home and not enough room to load it to the show. Brocky
  12. Ray Good pictures!! Thanks for the memories... Had a cousin who lived there for 25 years and visited her several times.
  13. Here are a couple more pictures of the Brockway At Cortland in 2010
  14. I will arrive Macungie noonish on Thurs.. The TK stop will depend on my daughters orders for Thur nite dinner??? Have signed up for the Fri nite picnic. Sat I will have to play by ear as the daughter and SIL will probably bring all 4 kids over. I posted the BMT picture time and place on the Just Old Trucks site also.. If you participate, The JOT picture is Sat at 10 AM at Eddy Lucast's KBS paint sales booth. Brocky
  15. Great Find!! I drove a 1950 Walter for the Town of Hastings, Oswego County back in the late 60's. Sure would like to have one down here to scare the Hell out of these rednecks..
  16. Yardo You just have to move a tad bit further out in the boondocks where you can build a BIG, BIGGER, BIGGEST garage.. Brocky
  17. Thanks for the pictures.. Always look forward to you weeks travels. In your first picture you even found a good old Brockway..
  18. Maint 1 There is no problem dropping a trailer in the back lot. If you go to the map on the last page of the yellow section of Double Clutch you will see the field next to the RR tracks marked "Transport Parking".. This is on grass so a couple of 2X6-8's under the dolly legs will not hurt.
  19. OK!! So how close to the good old 327 is this 5.3????
  20. I am with Mike. It looks like it is in good shape.. I would just give a good cleaning and show it as is--- a SURVIVOR!!--- Possibly put a mixer or dump body back on it?? Brocky
  21. Jim Thanks for reminding me ATHS has all the back issues online now. Looks like I have 20 years of back issues to read on rainy days. Brocky
  22. Couple of more
  23. Here are a few pictures of our show in conjunction with a Family Farm Day show in Greer SC
  24. Nice Pictures Thanks for sharing them Would take the 61 Chevy with decent wheels.
  25. Vlad Thank you for the pictures.. It is great to be able to see your countryside and villages from a personal perspective rather than a tourist info site. Questions: In the last picture of your first post, Is that large beast a rocket launcher?? and the ZIL dump truck,Does it have a 1956 Ford cab?? Thanks again Brocky
