  1. The Cruiseliner looks good in that shade of blue. Any trouble getting it going when heavy with the faster axle?
  2. Good to see you patronizing one of the many fine dining establishments of the Mid-Mon Valley. It's a local custom to stop for a chili dog first, follow it up with a pierogie chaser, then stop at the Sheetz at the next light to use the rest room. Haluski is a Polish dish, I believe. All I know for sure is that is has cabbage and noodles and is a staple at most buffets in the area, even the national chains.
  3. The truck triver is lucky he wasn't back in the cab and looking elsewhere when the van approached. Without a doubt, some shyster (6 dollar word) is going after the driver regardless of what caused the driver of the van to veer off course.
  4. Yeah, your coworkers are not as compassionate as us. We're just gonna forget about the "Uhrichsville Incident". Yep.......
  5. That's a neat find. It's this website. Since I first started posting on here, I've forgotten how to tie my shoes and I my taste in women has become....tasteless.
  6. Excellent slide show, thanks for posting. The clock tower must be what I was thinking of when I said statue. My Dad lived in Port Washington in the late 60's so I got to see some of this as a kid. Unfortunately, he lived on the other side near the yacht club so most of the time he would use PW Blvd.
  7. Great info. That's the first I've heard of the RP cab.
  8. Excellent photos and links. I haven't been to Roslyn, aside from crossing the viaduct, since I was a kid. Is that rollover in front a statue in the center of town?
  9. Just make sure the fuel caps are securely in place. He won't drive it if they are.
  10. Should be the Loadstar cab. They were the 2000's and the rounded cab was the 2010.2050, and 2070.
  11. Real Macks and no Disco. Apparently Michael Waltrip is older than Fenway Park too. Isn't that him on the right in the Stock Car photo?
  12. He's more handsome than I expected.
  13. Curry Club? Thanks for the update.
  14. Start with girls named Eileen.
  15. Oh, no problem there. I could sense the lust in your mind as you described the food.
  16. In the early-mid 70's, the Town of Brookhaven had several FWD's at their shop on Old Town Rd. in Coram. Those were the only FWD's I remeber seeing on the Island. My sister worked at the Dining Car 1890 restaurant in the late 70's. They had 3 or 4 retired cars that made up the seating areas. I don't know if it's still there but it was located on Rte 25A, just east of Nicolls Rd.
  17. Pervert. Elliot's and the hot dog place (The Little Red Caboose) are 2 places that I was told I MUST VISIT when I first moved to the area. In 18 years, I've been to LRC twice and haven't yet made it to Elliot's. The hot dogs are cheap and nasty, and I mean that in a most delicious way.
  18. The Captain has turned on the fasten your crotch sign.
  19. And you know this because..... Bill's also has a decent, non-pierogie section on the menu to cater to foreigners like yourself. They even have Anteater parking in front of the driving range, parallel to the road
  20. It would be cooler If I lost 25-30 lbs. That must the dee-luxe model with the built in, post-rollover, mirror and door glass consolidator.
  21. I would also blame myself if I voted for Romney and he won.
  22. Hey, we're the same size! I'm 5'8" 200 lbs.
  23. Did you find that by Google-ing "Left-handed"?
