  1. That's Rostraver Township, across from the airport. You were dangerously close to Casa del Green Dash. These pics sparked a roller coaster of emotions. On the down side, you have the destined for scrap White's sign, the bush truck, and mass suicide of insects. On the up side, there's the R model, the Camaro, and the Porta-Johns. My decision to like your post however, was based on the proper use of the word Kodiakatronomy.
  2. I apologize for disappointing you. As you know, all superhero's have suffered defeat at one time, only to come back and prevail. This ain't over yet. Let's Roll, Kato!
  3. Those polls are worthless. For every one that shows Obama in the lead, there will be one that has Romney on top. It all comes down to which organization is conducting it. I will vote in this election as I have in every Presidential election since 1980, but as of now it won't be for either one of those clowns. I'm leaning toward a Mickey Mouse write-in
  4. *&^%$#@! x2! I'd better go back to what I do best...uh..... Seriously, I thought Tim was thinner...taller....and a hell of a lot better looking than that guy.
  5. Solve the unsolvable. It's what I do.
  6. I have a theory as to where Tim might be, just a theory mind you. I'm not good at detective work but I put a lot of time in on this one and I may be onto something, It's tough to say at this point but we have to chase down every lead and leave no stone unturned until this mystery is solved and everyone can go back to leading normal lives. Are you ready? I know it's kinda far fetched but as I said before: I have a theory as to where Tim might be, just a theory mind you. I'm not good at detective work but I put a lot of time in on this one and I may be onto something, It's tough to say at this point but we have to chase down every lead and leave no stone unturned until this mystery is solved and everyone can go back to leading normal lives. Here goes. He's doin' the picture takin'.
  7. It looks like he ran out of storage space and just bolted everything to the truck. Kinda reminds me of when Felix Unger's wife threw him out and he had all those suitcases and a frying pan. Too bad you didn't get a shot of both rear axles. The Jifflox setups are less common these days.
  8. That's an amazing collection, the kids don't seem to mind either. Great info on Ahrens Fox, I'd never heard of the name until now.
  9. Rumor is that he has a spare pair and they're made of brass.
  10. I don't know if it's some weird fetish, but I've always enjoyed seeing cutaway views of anything mechanical. It's the best way to really understand how something works. Whenever someone asks "What do I have to do, draw you a picture?!" I graciously accept the offer.
  11. We have had problems with Visions from that era where the turbo takes forever to build up boost. It's a bit frustrating when your trying to get rolling after stopping on a hill.
  12. Sorry for your loss. I hope you didn't lose anything that was irreplaceable. Where exactly was this?
  13. MiniDyne must be empty, she's leaning to her left. That's a wide variety of brands and body styles for a small collection. The GMC reminds me of the NYC Sanitation Dept fleet in the 1970's, they must have had hundreds of those in white with black spokes and refuse bodies. They would even attach plows in the winter. My favorite of theses is the Diamond Reo.
  14. Momma is definitely a "person of interest" regarding Rob's disappearance. He seemed to be joking when talking about her, but you could sense the genuine fear in his posts.
  15. You're moving along quickly with this. Even the more subtle changes such as marker lights have an impact on the overall look. Saw (heard first) the Pete at last year's Watt's show. I didn't know it had the same owner.
  16. The pics reminded me of when you and your cousin would go through all his sisters stuff and she would go bull sh*t when she found out. That's why I liked your reply.
  17. I made it to Macungie twice whileon the way home from a Long Island visit, but that won't be happening this year. Any word on a Watt's/BMT show this year?
  18. I'm glad it went to you instead of that village board member. I was feeling nauseous just reading what they intended to do it with it. It's a beautiful truck. Good luck with it.
  19. Nice shot of the lineup.
  20. That's great you were able to find pics. Sorry to year about the fate of the R model.
  21. Same thing happened several years ago to the one I used to cross. ...Or #3, which would be a #1 and a #2. Don't give him any ideas.
  22. Welcome and yes, it can get sometimes get VERY interesting.
  23. 23 covered bridges in my county. I used to cross one every day when I drove for Shuster's.
  24. That would be a good place to hone your wide-load driving skills. Hmm....I just pee'd after reading another one of your posts, and now I have to go again.
  25. That last pic sums up how hopeless I feel sometimes....like I'm pissing in a volcano.
