  1. The trucks are actually in a lot that is between Worldwide Equipment (Mack & KW dealer) and 79. I forget the name of that company but the one on the other side of 79 is Superior Well Services.
  2. Like the seat I'm sitting on. Friggin' Hilarious x2.
  3. I wish I had been so wise. Something tells me that a certain member will be using his Photoshop skills this weekend.
  4. That truck is originally from Irwin, PA. I use to deliver to Irwin Concrete back in the early 90's and they had an active fleet of B models and older Autocars.
  5. Is this from the book? I was thinking about buying it but the last thing I need is something else to keep me awake when I should be sleeping. I listen to Savage during my 24 minute commute to work each night and I'm usually pissed off by the time I get there, but I keep going back for more.
  6. That's interesting. I was thinking this happened in Blue Bell, PA. I didn't know there was also a Blue Ball, PA
  7. It'll sell because it has a Cat badges on it.
  8. Interesting observation. I wasn't sure what to think of the set-back axle models at first, but always thought the axle-forward was looked like it had evolved from the B and R.
  9. Pic #2: "I'm sorry officer, was I speeding?" Pic #4: "Exhaust temp seems high"
  10. The door on the truck says Downingtown so it could be. Might even be Route 30.
  11. Having driven CH's, Visions, and Pinnacles, I have to say that the CH is still my favorite post-R model Mack. I was not a fan of the flat dash until I actually drove one and saw first hand how functional it was. I drove a Pinnacle Monday night and noticed that in the dark, with only the dash lights lighting the cab, the dashboard looked very similar to that of an early CH with the center section angled toward the driver.
  12. At least you won't go damn-near blind like I did. That's right. The next line is "A piece will drive a Valiant" or sumthin' like that. Here's a Mack Constuction Truck brochure from '78 with some offset cab stuff. http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_brochures/mack/mack-construction-t/ More spec sheets. http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_brochures/mack/mack_spec_sheets/mack_dmm_spec-sheets/ http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_brochures/mack/mack_spec_sheets/mack_dm_cab_spec-sheets/ http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_brochures/mack/mack_spec_sheets/mack_dm800_spec-sheet/
  13. Nice pictures. They certainly seemed odd at first, especially when you consider that this is what was going to be the succesor of the R model.
  14. If you look at the size and angle of a B model steering wheel, you'll understand. The owners of the former Blue Bell Hotel changed it's name immediately after the accident to honor the crotch-holding driver. It was a B61 before the impact.
  15. Thanks for posting this. As that site continues to grow, it becomes more difficult to find a collection that might suit a particular interest.
  16. It sounds like your scrubbing to hard. I always perform pre and post-trip inspections when showering to check for any loose, broken, or missing parts. I do not like Wal*Mart but my Wife does and I play along out of fear. I won't go there on my own though.
  17. They were offered in the "facelift" '82 models. Check out page 13 of this brochure: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_brochures/mack/mack_cruiseliner_1982/
  18. Nice pics. The truck looks great, I see you had decent weather, too.

    Good Dog:

    Excellent!
  20. Congrats on your sale, hope you got the $ you wanted out of it. BTW, my spending habits are the only thing I have left that's still tight.
  21. I probably would've been upset about not finding this until today if I hadn't had prior plans. Your about 100 miles from me but we've had decent weather and I'm itching for a truck show. Hope all went well. Will you be posting pictures or a link to the show?
  22. Sorry to hear about your new woes. The people are either the most ambitious drug addicts or the biggest fuckin' idiots on the face of the earth.
  23. That's what I figgered. It's good to hear from you. I'll take it you survived his cannonball into the bucket.
