  1. It looks like the bumper sticks out a bit too far. There's a KW bumper on a Ford on his website and it looks good. He calls it an F-600. Would that be possible in '81?
  2. http://providence.craigslist.org/cto/2863709680.html
  3. I clicked on the YOU hoping it was a direct link. Looks like I have a nice weekend project planned.
  4. Congrats on your "15 minutes" , I saw that episode.
  5. Which of these people do I want making my pierogies? The answer is obvious... As my Dad use to say. "Go for the ugly ones. They'll work harder to make sure your satisfied."
  6. That's a nervous smile if there ever was one.
  7. I was outbid at the last second.
  8. it wasn't hardened until she leaned on it. Sounds tasty, but hold the special sauce.
  9. I don't know why she is one of the few people that "gets it".
  10. I did a Google search and you'll never guess what the first result was. I believe the MO stood for MOhawk. The 66x numbers were used on the south shore of Suffolk County. This seems to be from the Babylon area.
  11. YOURS?!
  12. That must feel so cool to be 10 years old and playing with the "big toys". I'll bet your a proud papa too.
  13. I see your Jacuzzi and raise you a Zamboni. Frank J. Zamboni.
  14. I'm sure I can find a way to use that pic for educational purposes. Wasn't someone recently asking how the shift levers on a Triplex should bent to prevent them from hitting?
  15. I'm half Italian (from my Mother). My Dad, the English/Irish mutt, used to say: "You know how to make a WOP?" "Yes Dad, you've told me this several times before" "You take 10 pounds of (crap) and put it in a 5 pound bag and go (slamming his hands together) WOP!
  16. That picture is going to continue to be circulated even if I have to make it my friggin' avatar to do so.
  17. There's an '08 Pinnacle tractor at work with an MP7 that's had a lot of shop time recently. Coolant was getting into the emmisions system and the truck was doing a regen every few hundred miles. The reason for the excessive downtime was that Mack couldn't find the problem after throwing thousands of dollars worth of parts at it (under warranty). I guessing this tractor is the exception rather than the rule because the company bought 120 2011's and is adding 100 more 2012's, all with MP7's.
  18. Whereas this does not look gay.
  19. You have skills as a writer that make the reader feel as if they were....cough cough........barf........right there as the drama unfolds.
  20. The main compatability concern we deal with is food & poison. On linehaul, the placarding is calculated by someone in the office and I just double check it. Half the time it's pretty straightforward and the rest of the times you need to whip out your fingers and toes and sometimes, an abacus. In Ohio, the fine to the driver for missing/improper placards is currently $780.
  21. I have my suspicions. You didn't mess with them Clariben boys back in the day.
  22. Thanks. It didn't occur to me to do it that way. I was trying to find a way using the image, not the handy-dandy buttons on top. Thanks for the gallery link too. I wanted to see more pics of the mixer and was not disappointed. Beautiful restoration!
  23. I've un-peed. Stings like a sonofabitch. I only spent 14 months of my driving career OTR but I used to love those weeks when the loads kept coming and there was minimal downtime. I may have eventually burned me out, but since I was spending the time away from my family, I wanted to make the most of it. Like so many truck stop patrons, only some of theirs can't seem to find their way into the trash.
  24. How do you copy and paste a street view photo? Do you have a gallery of your mixer? I am just too damn lazy to search 36 pages of member's albums
  25. Just play along. Yeah, cool Marmon!
