Found the cam information I was looking for

I bought a Granite with an AI engine it has a bad cam does anyone have a good part number for a cam without the extra bump on it. Read on here before to use an AC camshaft. Also could it just put a 02 model CCRS engine in it without a wiring or ECM programming issue?

I thought that you needed to retard the timing on a diesel and increase it on a gas engine to gain hp. This seems backwards if I'm thinking correctly

So is there 6 degrees difference in timing of 400 and less and over 400

How many degrees difference is there in the offset key versus the straight key? Also does it advance it or retard it?

Is it really needed to have the eup's programmed? I have changed several and never did that but only on 1 set couldn't tell any difference in the way they ran just in my wallet when Mack got done with me

The 460 Should still be available from mack but will have to send into mack and get approval from them and pay for horsepower upgrade and most people say the 427 runs better than the 460 it has a flatter torque curve. If it were me I would turn it back to the 355/380 program I think they pull better than the 427 or 460

Looks like an aftermarket exaust brake that has been added to me

I had a 92 CH Mack that did that if I remember correctly they told me that somebody was probably poking the cruise control switch mutipal times quickly and caused a default code so I took it to mack and had it reset never caused problems after that
