  1. Found 2 holes in the fresh air line from intake to air compressor, charge air cooler tested good. Not put the new line on yet but the holes on the old appear to have been there for a while so not sure that that is all my issue.
  2. Not yet going to do that tomorrow
  3. I have a 99 CH with a 355/380 just replaced heads and put on the switchblade turbo, full tilt exhaust manifold and rochester 2.5 injectors now I'm only getting alot of smoke and only about 20lbs of boost. Before the head job I was running full tilt manifold 75hp K&S injectors and a 460 non waste gated turbo and would get some smoke and around 30lbs of boost. Any ideas or thoughts where I went wrong
  4. Someone on here was telling about a place selling eup's for less than 300 if I remember right
  5. I can't get pictures to post on here so if you want to send me an email or phone number I can send it to you that way
  6. So are you needing transmission mounts from an RL with a 2 stick 6 speed?
  7. Can this be done by just changing the front cover so a/c compressor and accessories are in correct location and an ecm reprogramming. Or will I run into other obstacles
  8. After about 100 miles of driving you could see a little bit of smoke residue where it was leaking
  9. No reason you can't use the one you have from the etech
  10. I thought peak torque was around 1100 rpm on those. Probably came out with a 5,6,7,or 8 speed mack transmission when new
  11. I had a similar situation and it was the gasket between the turbo and exhaust manifold
  12. I'm not having any luck with the pictures, if you want me to text them or email them you can text me your info at 417-880-4862.
  13. Well I'm working on getting pictures loaded
  14. Here is a picture of the headlight and turn signal for a CH almost positive the RD uses same headlight just 4 screws that holds it in.
  15. You working on an RD is that correct? I think Wilbur is talking about CHs. Maybe I'm confused
  16. are they not the same as the new ch uses
  17. The light and turn signal are separate pieces
  18. I've saw those after market LED lights advertised for the CH mack but I don't think they will actually fit better make sure b4 ordering. The olney LED ones I found that fit are the new ones from Mack
  19. Pretty sure they use the same headlight
  20. Would the variable geometry turbo be stuck in wrong position?
  21. He didn't drive fast for sure averaged less than 2mph
  22. I would sure like to know what they did to reinforced the inside of cab to keep them from breaking. I called 3 or 4 mack dealers and body shops and no one had any clue
  23. The factory rawhide exhaust mounts to the cab I don't think there would be any other way to mount them. I had a Rawhide with a million miles on it and the cab where the exhaust brackets bolted on was not broken out. I built a set brackets similar to the original design and put on a 99 CH reinforced the cab some but apparently not enough because they broke the cab out in about 6 months. Not sure how mack reinforced the cab to keep that from happening and couldn't find anyone that could tell me how they did it.
  24. You could find you a Rawhide and get a vin# and order the brackets from mack or just make your own. The brackets from mack are not cheap. Also if you do this you better make sure you reinforce the cab good where they fasten to the cab or you will have problems with them breaking the cab out.
