  1. If there's one offset cab that I'll admit to liking, it's definately a DMM. Those trucks are just SICK. Cousin Ben
  2. Good luck with that haha. When we did the exhaust on the international we just went to Watts Mack, told them what we needed and went back a couple days later and got all the neccesary bends and straights and my dad cut them to size and welded it up and we're good to go Ben
  3. Are you thinkin of the same girl I'm thinkin of? Ben
  4. You went to Riggles too? What day were you there? Ben
  5. What was he smoking at the time? Cousin Ben
  6. Yep. If you're on this website, you're our friend, and we'll all be glad to help out in any way we can. I wish you a quick recovery and tell you're family that we're thinking about them. Ben
  7. Haha, I just love how you put "Hi!" in the begining of all your posts. Ben
  8. BTW where are you getting all those sweet emoticons? I'd like to have some of them. Ben
  9. I second the motion to help out here at home in the good ol USA, rather than the alternative. The Weather Channel.com had 286 pics of the devastation from NC clean to Maine and as far West as Chicago. Wow. Here (East of Pittsburgh) was just wet, constant rain since Sunday with a little wet snow mixed in from time to time. I really hope that all of those negatively affected by the storm get back to normal really quickly. Hopefully the jag-off insurance companies step up to the plate and help people recover. Tim
  10. So that's why some of the lumber is sticky...........
  11. Check here: http://bigmacktrucks.com/store/ If it's not there, call 1-800-304-6225 and ask for the parts department. They'll hook you up with anything you need and will ship anywhere in the world. And tell them Ben Jumper referred you Ben
  12. Haha the only bulldog I ever had to remove was one my dad was saving for me when I was little. It was an an R model in our local scrapyard. How they got it off was they grabbed it with the big grapple machine and tore it off along with a big chunk of the hood But when my dad gave it to me, I just grabbed a cresent wrench and unskrewed the bolts and it came right off. I guess it just wasn't really that rusty haha. Ben

  14. Vinny, Vinny, Vinny, always concerned about things that lean left...... Ben
  15. Okay, thanks. I'll be going to the shop tomorrow and I'll see if I can get a picture of it. Ben
  16. I think this is another one of those threads with some pretty extreme twists and turns going on down the line. Ben
  17. ...between a 1954 GMC and a 1955 1st Series GMC because I'm starting to suspect that my pickup truck is a '55 1st series rather than a '54 like I thought it was but I don't know for sure. So does anyone know how to tell? Maybe the serial number or something like that? Because if it is a '55 then it's really rare and I don't wanna go customizing it. I do know that it's a 1 ton, deluxe cab, long bed, with a 248 six cylinder, and hydramatic transmission. What makes me think that it's a '55 is that my buddy has a '54 one ton just like it and it has a different dashboard, and my dash is different from any other '47-'54 GMC that I've ever seen. But I dunno. So if anyone can help me out with this, that'd be great Ben
  18. All that I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That makes Cops look like bumper cars. I love seeing a good wreck, but many of those were unsurviveable. Makes you think how fragile life is. And I would only drive an R model with a cow catcher on the front, would save me atleast. Tim
  19. Awesome Afro engineering! My binders hood cables broke and tried to iron me out before we painted it, those things are heavy, I couldn't imagine moving it by myself! Tim
  20. I'm happy for you! I have the same setup, my oldest (Ben ) is 14, I also have 3 girls 12 10 and 9 . Life is good
  21. 58 fwd, I hear that Detroit makes a bitchen gen set. Just sayin. Tim
  22. Walked outside today and this is what I saw: Fresh tar and chips: Walked a little farther down the road and came across this: And this fun little operation: What were they spreading the tar with you ask? Aww, you know, just the usual type: Even their 1-ton was of my favorite brand: As I took that last picture, I heard this coming: Something look peculiar about this truck? Who was doing all the work? Who had just purchased the two Granites brand new this year from our very own Watt's Mack Sales
  23. AWESOME!!!!! You're soooo lucky. If it was me, that stuff would be in my will Ben
  24. Awww, sorry to hear all of that, but sometimes the right thing to do isn't pleasnt for you. Maybe someday you can get another B model and fix it up. Good luck with the sale, and I hope the truck makes it's way into good hands Ben
