  1. Hey guys, I just wanted to say that we already made a handshake deal for buying the truck before Tom posted it on here. We were actually standing in the garage where it sat for 20 years when it was posted here on BMT. We're sorry if somebody wanted it and didn't get it. But anyway, I'm starting a new thread with pictures of it right now. Ben
  2. I think we'll be driving a new addition to the family which I will post about tomorrow. You'll see. Ben
  3. Dad! You shouldn't have told them. I wanted to post a picture of me in the drivers seat so they could be like, "wow" but no, you had to go ruin it. Jeeze. Ben
  4. I have a verbal commitment and Watt's is to pick it up tomorrow A.M., so hopefully I bought it!
  5. I'm having it delivered tomorrow! Tim
  6. It actually has a bad sping pack on the drivers side front, that's why it's leaning. Ben
  7. It was actually 2 weeks. We pulled it into the shop on Saturday the 4th and took it to the show on the 18th. That's exactly 14 days. We worked on it almost every day after work and all day both Saturdays from like 7am to 11 at night. Lots of sanding, scraping, wire brushing, wrenching, and money. We were at Watt's Mack at least 8 of the 14 days. We would find out we need somthing, run to Watts, order it, go back the next day to get it and realize we needed to order something else while we were there. But I didn't mind at all because I love hanging out at Watts. It was also really fun to work on the truck with my dad. Ben
  8. Detroit Diesel (of course) 6V92TA with Roadranger RT-909 and Jake Brake. It's awesome. Ben
  9. Yea, those are the hub caps they put on B models, just painted white. But that is a really nice looking truck. Ben
  10. All I can say is a quote from my dad: "With a cuttin' torch and a mig welder, anything can be done." Personally, if I'm fixing to swap an engine into something, it's gonna have two strokes. Just saying. Ben
  11. No Vinny, I'll be driving the Two-Stokes of the family. I'll be leaving the four strokes to my dad. And if you think it looks good, wait till you hear it. It sounds sick. We cut the muffler off and put dual 5 inch straight stacks on it. It's awesome. Cousin Ben
  12. I too took a bunch of pictures at the show. I'll post them as soon as I can. I've been really busy (having fun) at the Westmoreland Fair. Ben
  13. Here's a little sneak peek: What it looked like 3 weeks ago: What it looked like 3 days ago: Most of the many pictures we took during the restoration are on my dad iPad so as soon as I get those transfered to my computer, I'll make a slideshow video showing the whole process. Also, I plan to take a video of it running and driving. Ben
  14. Looks like ole Vinny just had a little blonde moment. Ben
  15. Did y'all notice that the rope was out the passenger side window? That is a rare factory anti tip device to be deployed in the event of an emergency. J/k Vinny , I have a pic of a U for you as well, but no vin number as I was interrogated for taking the pic and it was raining, ect. I'll have Ben post it soon, Tim
  16. Dude, seriously. I thought he was talking about fish. Hey.....wait a minute......I guess you could kinda.... Anyway, as far as your flooring problem, I am a very qualified floor guy and would be happy to help you in your time of need. Almost forgot to put Tim here to clear up any confusion about who's offering to help.
  17. Dare I ask what a squab is? I am working on the final phase of the Watt's Mack expansion, and at least once a day a Pitt Ohio truck makes a delivery , but not one green dash in sight. Coincidentally, our secret project is also at Watt's receiving a much needed brake overhaul. I learned just what S-cams are and why I need 4 new ones as well that brakes work better with linings on them. I imagine that brakes wouldn't be such a big deal if the Jake worked, but those pesky noise abatement laws in place in local boroughs...... Tim
  18. We were working on a super secret non Mack project! Green dash kinda let the cat out of the bag after the Watts show, but it was bound to happen. Ben is to do a photo journal of the project soon, but he is at Westmoreland Fair showing goats and chickens. Not posting doesn't mean we don't care!
  19. Aww man, I didn't know they were taking a picture. Dang. I was there all day I can't believe I missed the photo. Bummer. Ben
  20. Heyyyyyyyy!!!! You weren't sopposed to tell them! Now everybody knows. Jeeze. Anyway, I'm making a slideshow of the whole project in the next couple of days and I'll be sure to post it. Ben
  21. We are here at the show! About 50 trucks already, 20 cars and small trucks and a tractor(farmall) just pulled in. No Vinny though.
  22. Barry has been known to pitch a tent or two! A drop cloth could be a possibility Tim
  23. Awww, that secret project is coming along great. You guys will love it. I'll post all about it after the show. Ben
  24. Ben and I have been working on a super secret project for this event, see you there!
  25. Tonight is Imperial night at the derby. I'm going to try my best to not cry. Ben
