    The truck itself has a NTC-350 Cummins but they covered the sound with a recording of an 8V71 Detroit. They actually used 5 different trucks to film the movie. I'm a Convoy lunatic. Ben

    My buddy built a truck that seems to work pretty well. Its a B75 body on a 1998(I think) Mack CH chassis. It's got like a 7 foot sleeper with a shower and fireplace and everything. He uses it to haul all his other toys all over the place and he loves it. I think a setup like that would be the way to go. Ben

    I think they did, but I'm not sure. People repowered those Fordson majors with all kinds of different engines. I think they had good drivelines to start with. Ben

    I do kinda like that theory. In 4-H, the girl to guy ratio is about 5 to 1 so that would work great for me. Maybe I should get a U model....... Ben

    There should be at least a few. I know Watts Mack will be there with some stuff. There's also a big swap meet too with a whole bunch of parts and stuff. The show pretty much starts when everybody gets there and ends when everybody leaves. Ben

    Not now. Probably about 20 years from now when my dad is retired and has nothing better to do, we'll tear it completely apart and do a frame-off restoration on it. We'll clean and paint every part seperatly and put new bolts in and stuff like that. But for now we're just making it look nice so we can get it on the road and DRIVE IT! Ben

    We're not going to pull the cab this time, Vinny. We're just going to paint it the way it is and put the other parts back on. I'm going to finish cleaning the front suspension next Thursday, then it'll be ready for paint by the week after that. Cousin Ben

    You have to be 21 to get your CDL at all. If you register your U as an antique, like we're doing with the B60, you can drive it when you're 16. Just remember to date the bigger girls to help keep the truck on the road. Cousin Ben
