Alright guys, I have terrible news. My dad just told me that we have to work on the house tomorrow, and we won't be able to start up the B Model. I am very sad. It's all ready to run though, all I have to do now is hook up the batteries and hit the button and it should fire right up. Ben

You know, my favorite part about this website is that I post a topic about starting up my B Model Mack, and all of the sudden we're talking about peoples' grammar mistakes and likenesses to South Park charactors. Ben

So yesterday, my dad told me he was going to start the B60 up, but he wanted me to be there when he did. So either tomarrow or probably Saturday, I'm going to get to start it. I'm not sure how, but I have misplaced my video camera. If I don't find it, I'll have to use my sister's camera, which doesn't have very good sound quality. But somehow I will get a video on here. Watching this video is worse than any horror movie ever. It's like, from the title, I know it's going to do it, but the suspense of it not running quite right for a little while, and then taking off, is terrible. But it's a great feeling to have knowing that he caught it, fixed it, and the truck is on the road now. Ben

I found it. It is ignorant, wastful, terrible, horrifying, awful, and just plain stupid. I almost cried watching it, but it sorta made me proud to see it hold out for so long. If I ever meet the guys that did it, I'm going to fill their lungs with starting fluid and see if they blow up. Ben

I really have no idea. But until you figure someting out, buy some silicone-based starting fluid so you don't tear up the engine. Ben

Yep. A 92 series probably would have made an "aftermarket access hole" but the inline 71's are very durable. Ben

I think it did. The video is in a weird spot on youtube, I'll have to find it. I didn't see the tach so it might have been at a lower speed. Ben

I've seen that video a thousand times. No biggie. I saw a 4-71 just like that run between 5000 and 6000 RPM for 12 minutes. The inline 71's hold up really well to high speed. It would be VERY SCARY to be there though. Ben
